Should we should be putting a large chunk of our transfer budget into another striker? With Carroll, Sakho, and Valencia, and the possibility that Slaven might get more out of Zarate than Sam did (who knows maybe even Maiga might be better under Bilic!!) Shouldn't we be concentrating on getting in 2 high class attacking mid-fielders? Another right-back (2 IF Jenks doesn't sign), and maybe take a punt on another 'Sakho' type acquisition if we want to increase our striker numbers?
Thoughts gentlemen?

need to look for another striker just because ac can't be trusted to stay fit and personally I think he will be back in the north east soon anyway, I agree with you that attacking midfielders is something we need and of course a rb if jenks don't come back.. maybe a top centre half as well wouldn't go a miss either

I don't see $15mill being acceptable though. How much did Liverpool get Ings for...3.5? Why would you pay over the odd fos players at relegated clubs. Most we ever got after going down was 7.5 for Defoe and that was in January. Lost Cole, Carrick for peanuts so QPR will be lucky to get half what they want!

Ings was out of contract, not sure how long Austin has left on his. Seen today Newcastle have put a bid in for 12 mill plus he can wear the number 9 shirt.

Ahh true, I think Liverpool only have to pay a nominal fee due to Ings' age so they've got a good deal. Just feel QPR are being unrealistic. They've been relegated, have some financial issues on the horizon maybe and if the player pushes for a move not a lot they can do really.
I'm not a fan so hope someone other than us is happy to pay over inflated prices.

Worst part of today's game....No Loyalty! You earn enough so have some pride and give 100% back to those that support you and pay your way!

I went to a chippy half way down the Barking Road and by the time I got there me feet were all sweaty, particularly the left foot according to our keeper......

Yeah he never seemed enthusiastic about joining us; Sully should've dropped the idea as soon as it was clear he wasn't keen. I only want players here who WANT to play for us. If they don't really give a toss, that's what they will give on the pitch.

DITM I would ruin Maiga in a finishing competition and am more than willing to prove it for charity!

We saw what happened last season with injuries where we ended up relying on Carlton Cole. There's nothing to suggest we won't end up in the same situation this season, particularly with more matches, but we don't have Cole. Carroll will never play a full season (and very few strikers do) particularly if you try and play him every match like Allardyce did. I could never understand why he played him match after match at the end of 2014 when he had Sakho and Valencia both fit. Carroll needs someone decent to share the burden of leading the line over the season. Maybe Sakho could do it but it's a lot to expect of him. Charlie Austin would be perfect to rotate with Carroll I think.

Can anyone remind me what was the ALLEGED incident with Remy and a couple of other QPR players that involved some sort of assault - and what happened with that?
