There was something all too familiar about Hammers opening Premier League fixture away to Bournemouth, a relatively bright start which featured a stunning strike from Jarrod Bowen was then followed by an ever decreasing defensive ring that ended up in most people's back gardens!

The game was screaming out for fresh faces from the bench to see off what would have been a very decent start to the new campaign, but instead David Moyes elected to 'keep his powder dry' until it was too late and the home side equalised after a spell of sustained pressure.

Moyes was even heard telling his players NOT to bomb forward, but to take a breather! Bournemouth had changed virtually their entire team before the Moyesasaurus' finally acquiesce. Divin Mubamba and Maxwell Cornet were both on the bench, BOTH have pace to burn and were ideal substitutes to bring on, Cornet made an impact as soon as he came on, but by that time Hammers were under the cosh and were realistically seeing the game out for a draw, it should be remembered, this was against BOURNEMOUTH!

Seeing Pacman Play Was Like The End Of A Holiday Romance

Seeing Lucas Paqueta 'bewilder' the opposition, tackle while on the floor and generally terrorise Bournemouth's midfield while still 'putting on a show' was a bit like the end of a summer holiday romance. You know, you promise to stay in touch and maybe you do for a while, but eventually you drift apart and that 'special time' becomes just a memory. Sadly, 'Pacman' WILL end up at City, it is just a question of when not if. You cannot blame the Brazilian, West Ham will make around £50 Million profit from the sale with 10% going to Lyon as part of the original deal AND Lucas gets to work with the best manager in the World!

What would you rather do? Resist the massive wage increase offered to you and the chance to work with Pep, or stay where you are and work with David Moyes? NOTHING is going to change at West Ham until Moyes goes, it seems he has the board behind him FOR NOW, so fans had better dig in for what will be another season just like last, but with little hope of winning the Europa League and without being able to feast their eyes on the combined talents of Lucas Paqueta and Declan Rice!

Not to worry, there is always Danny Ings after all!

Areola Comment Extremely Unhelpful!

And Finally, Moyes' propensity for 'destroying' a players confidence seems to have gone unabated, his comments about Alphonse Areola's performance reeked of the type of comment hewn out by family relatives that worked in the Goven area of Glascow when men were men!

Someone needs re-educating and it isn't Areola who was at NO FAULT for the goal he conceded and who pulled off two absolutely superb saves as well as on at his near post that would have 'done' Fabianski, you can bet the Frenchman cannot wait to see the back of the Scot! (He's not the only one)- Ed

I can see Moyes going. I'm not Moyes biggest fan by a long chalk, but I doubt anyone can realistically believe that he wanted to lose Rice, Pacman or even Scamacca. Fair to say even, that Maguire might have been useful yesterday too if true that Moyes really is chasing him.

We all know it and we know the reasons..like Nev said play for Moyes or play for Pep it is a no brainer and yes he probably wont start every game there but the football is so much better...as for us i dont doubt for one second Moyes will be on the phone about Mctominay again and now rumours about Anthony Martial....god when will this end...and as i said in another post next weekend against chelski expect the bus to be well and truly parked from kick off as he has no belief that we can win against teams like that...pathetic

OK, so Moyes appears to have lost the fan base, some players, coaches, and the media, how long can that go on?

We'll learn if Moyes future is away from WHUFC over the next 2 weeks.
If the players brought in are Moyes choices (Maguire, McTomminay, Martial (FFS)) or if Tim Steidten brings in his targets.

As they say "Back him or sack him!"

Surely the board can't be that blind ,we stayed up by the skin of our teeth, coach resigned, stating,,he couldn't stay with a manager who only plays defensive, and every player he signed has gone , wake up smell the coffee before its too late,
