Just an observation but where do all the doom-sayers go? They start the thread writing the team off and by the end disappear. At least stick around to applaud the win. An astute observation

Betty, I have read a heck of a lot of Hammers sites and the majority are doom and gloom. Moyes out etc ! (you know the usual palaver) we all know the chances of us having 60%+ possession is a pipe dream , we are solid at the back, counter well and I am sure the players who are still with the club after the summer are buoyed by the ECL win in June. Let's just enjoy it while we can but what is certain tonight every other side in the EPL are looking up at us.

Some of you think other west ham followers think that some of us are detestable for voicing opinions, well im sorry if it offends you, and people like you ,but i am just as much a west ham lover as you are ,it rearly pisses me off when we have a good win when your sense of supeiriority come out ,i duno , maybe its me ,maybe this is the new way to beat the teams that the tv media hype up to be the best in the prem,maybe Moyes has rearly found the key for us to go forward ,i know something though ,that performance today was superb, but the early comments were highly critical of the sit back and invite them on system,but as i say maybe its the way to approach football today, i just hope we beat the scum and Sitty with it ,one more point ,i dont know where all this hype about Brighton comes from,to me their mediocre, pretty good midfield but horrendous finishers, and as for sky sports ,they could not stop bumping them up ,even with 4 minuets to go that pratt Smith was saying " its not over yet ,if Briighton could get one more who knows what could happen", my motm ; Ant, today he proved what a big mistake it would have been to let him go ,he has the heart of a lion.

I don't think you're not entitled to your opinion Burkie, and I certainly don't think you're detestable. But there are a few that come on 5 mins before kick off and write us off, every week, based upon a line up! 10 mins in and they've had enough or switched off. For those of us fortunate enough to go to games in this current climate, it's the equivalent of booing the team as it's being read out on the tanoid and walking out after 10 mins if we're not playing tic-a-taca. I think we have to be realistic. The manager is there opinion or not and as long as he's winning he'll stay there, we have to take accept it. There will be better teams than Brighton where that much possession will pay more dividends, but we're never gonna win the league are we? I think my original point was, of course throw in a hand grenade at the start of a live thread, but at least come back at the end to eat humble pie, when you just wait to be proved right and come back on to tell us you told us so, it's a bit boring.
