Alvarez travels back late fear of fatigue he plays Kudus the same he's on the bench...how Antonio keeps his place is quite remarkable considering

He just can't control a ball cannot cross a ball cannot make a simple pass he takes up space in the team as he is producing nothing and has not for few weeks....unless a long ball goes over the top for him to run onto and just hit it he may as well not be out there....saying all that the whole team were passive only when we went behind did we try to do something in there box.....Kudus has to come on and start games but i wont hold my breath.

When was the last time we didn’t concede in the first five minutes of the second half.

Has Mubama done to not be given a crack?

This is a very good Villa side, but we made them look like world beaters. Passing was particularly poor today. We usually like to give teams a one goal lead before we start playing, today we didn’t get started until we were two down. We might get away with that against lesser teams but not with a strong side like this. Defence is not confident enough to play this counter attacking game. We have the players to play a more offensive game, need to be a bit more brave.

Couldn't pass water let alone a football! Lazy, lack lustre or leggy ... call it as you will, Villa won't have an easier afternoon, yes they are a good side but they are not (on a better day) 3 goals better than us. Areola had some good stops but conceded all to easy near post, Alvarez ? daft penalty to give away, Pacman trying to be too clever.. on JWP really gets any plaudits and his dead ball situations were well off today. Only complaint about Villa was Zaniolos play acting, never got touched on the head, cheating pure and simple when we had a half decent spell!

Its funny how one week we're brillient ,and the next we're a disarster, its deveoping into a battle between the pro Moyes and the anti moyes fans .
For me hes a dead loss, every game away from home hes happy with a point, sometimes i think its daft having paco in the team ,he really is world class and its begining to show, kudos too is another one ,we've started our annual slide down the table, a Fulham win tomorrow night might make up for todays sorry mess

To put a finer point on things we are too hit and miss to say we are a good team,we are becoming inconsistant again,in reality we should be beating the likes of Villa, but the same old story,Antonio up front on his own,is struggling to hit a barn door.

Just one win and one draw in the past five Premier League matches means that only the bottom 4 share a worse record. Nothing less than 3 points against Everton is a MUST!!

Be careful with statistics.

We played Liverpool and City in that time, got a good draw against the barcodes and lost to a record breaking inform at home Aston Vanilla. Lets see what the next round of games bring. Some are saying the same with Spudz unbeaten run and top of the table, having on paper at least, a pretty easy start to the season.. lets see.
