Former Everton and Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has announced his retirement from playing. The 36-year-old, won 87 caps for Belgium and appeared at two World Cups, he ended his international career in 2019.
Fellaini joined Everton from Standard Liege in 2008 and moved to United in 2013 before signing for Chinese Super League club Shandong Luneng in 2019.He made 141 Premier League appearances for Everton, scoring 25 goals and registering 14 assists for them.
Fellani was 'adored' by Hammers boss David Moyes who brought him to Everton initially before taking him to Manchester United
Fellani was allegedly a Moyes target during virtually EVERY transfer window but their 'reconnection' was unrequited.
Fellaini scored 22 goals in 177 appearances in all competitions for United, who he helped win the 2016 FA Cup as well as the Europa League and EFL Cup in 2017.
