Moyes Throws His Toys Out The Pram!

David Moyes has effectively managed to get Tim Steidten BANNED from the Stratford Stadium and from the club's training ground until the end of the season, or that is according to a flurry of Press reports and shady denials.

In a way Moyes cannot be blamed for wanting the German out of his sight, the Hammers manager probably feels he deserves better than to see his 'chief tormentor' on a daily basis in and around the dressing room and training facilities on a daily basis.

Given the fact that it is Steidten who has been charged with finding Moyes' replacement there was always going to be a certain amount of bad feeling festering away from the 60 yr old Scot regarding the German.

After a frosty start the pair appeared to be getting on reasonably well, but Moyeshasnow decided he doesn't want the distraction and Press barage that follows Steidten everywhere he goes. The club must take some responsibility for how things have panned out although in truth there is little they could do to avoid a clash of personalities as Moyes' tenure comes to its inevitable end.

Moyes himself is not without blame, surely he knows that he is a 'dead man walking' and that the club is merely seeing out the remainder of his contract with little if any intention of renewing it unless stringent new rules are followed.

Moyes has had a brilliant five years at the club and has brought much needed stability, but it felt throughout the club's fan base that he has reached his limit and a parting of the ways is the best for all parties.

Moyes is old school and notoriously stubborn, so unfortunately this saga looks like it will run to the bitter end with no handshakes and no clarity for fans, many of whom are waiting to see the result of the managerial shenanigans before committing themselves to purchasing their season ticket for next season, particularly those in the higher price band!-Ed

true can't say i blame him probably take the same decision my self . Nothing worse when trying to get players motivated than have a doubting Thomas looking on ,mind you he will probably sign his leaving card wishing him all the best in the future ,such is football in this so called modern world !!!

Sullivan is where the buck stops....he must know what he is doing with Moyes this summer so he should call him in let him know in no uncertain terms who the boss is and he cannot have a say on the way the club moves forward if(hopefully)he has no future with us.

Sullivan got Steidten in to be the future so he has to back this man and stop this last tantrum of Moyes from setting moral back any further

Let's be honest, the circus that is West Ham on a daily basis is down to how the club is run by Sully and Buttplug. It'll never change with these 2 in charge

Had he been a clever politician he would have leveraged his new role, with less responsibility and probably more money as compensation, put a big arm around Steidten giving the impression he was relaxed with the new modern way. Then, any issues relating to players he could blame him! Instead reverts to type, aging manager unable to move with the times sharing responsibilities, rooted like an Oak tree that fails and falls in the high winds. We have all worked with such dinosaurs!

Sullivan will be loving this, its the typical act of a dictator. You tell more than one person or organisation they are in charge and sit back and watch the mayhem. The clever part is they focus attention on each other not the "mastermind" that set the structure. Hitler did the same, told the Gestapo, SS, Special guard etc they were in charge... takes the focus away from the dictator.

IMO Moyes has'nt had a brilliant five years at the club and didnt bring stability. Just look first at the shocking turnover of backroom staff. Players the same, forever in "building" phase hence we have a ludicrously small and aging squad 5 years on. No sign of academy players breaking through from a highly successful group of youngsters.

I dont like him as a person. Misogynist and a bully, classic traits of person moulded in the past with mind set of stick and no carrot.

All that said he got us results with the ugliest of football in a results based business. Such a strategy is VERY short term and typical of the "Fire Fighters" engaged only for relegation, experts such as Allardyce, Redknapp, Woy, Pulis etc. Again, had he been smart and attract the attention of the Big Clubs, he should have behaved with dignity, less blaming of others, pathetic excuses and could leave with head held high. Who knows, even a bloody statue of him and Euro Wastepaper Bin Cup outside the BoM!!!

Apologies, he's football was never Ugly. The point was he is the oblivious candidate when relegation looms... Bournemouth, Southampton, back to Pompy, Spudz, QPR, Birmingham... always just a fire fighter, never (I think) offered a job where the owners were wanting to build a project / future.

You know. I cant help wondering if we are so aware of this shit just because we support the club. It's our club so we sit up and take notice. That is of course, as long as it doesn't come from those Youtube arsewipes.

Or are other clubs just the same if they've got a dodgy Manager for whatever reason?

All I know is, whoever used the word "circus" is absolutely 100% bang on with that description. The season ending has become torture. We all just want it over. Could not give two fvcks where we finish as it will mean sweet FA!!!

Just get this dickhead out and we can all move on!!!!!

about Twitcher... see above.

Pulis did wonders at Stoke? I worked out of an office in Stone, Staffs for years and surrounded by Oatcakes and even at the hight of his success (in Europe, FA Cup Final) he was hated because the footie was Moyesball!. Woy... No time for the man, gutless resignation from England... Ol Fat Sam didnt get that chance :o)

Pulis made Stoke a strong, hard team to beat,i agree the football wasnt pretty, and what i mean by wonders is,since he left they werent the same, they never set the world on fire before he was there and went completely pear shaped when he left, and they still are.
