'Schnell Steidten'!

'Super Tim Steidten' is about as much of a polar opposite to 'Dithering David Moyes' when it comes to their approach regarding player purchases. Moyes earned his dithering Dave moniker as a result of his over excessive due diligence, whereas Steidten is quick of the mark and wants deals done yesterday!

That is not to say Steidten doesn't thoroughly research prospective new players, it is just that he is far more preo-active about the way he does his business. It should be remembered that Tim Steidten is a director of football and NOT a coach, so his sole responsibility is to bring players in ans move players out, not withstanding his role as a selecter of managerial short lists!

The task ahead of Steidten to provide Julen Lopetegui with players they both agree on is truly herculean, but if anyone is up for it then surely the 'Pearl Diver' is, as his work at Leverkusen bears testimony.

The signing of Flamengo's Fabricio Bruno is all but rubber stamped, those of Vitoria Guimaraes attacker Jota Silva and Seville's El Nesryi are not far behind either. That would be three down with another TEN to go, so good luck 'Schnell Steidten', you are going to need every ounce of it at your disposal! -Ed

It's refreshing to see arrivals coming in early and having time to adjust. Now let's see how good Tim is and sell Zouma

That man is not someone you would want to meet in a well lit alley let alone a darkened one! sorry for judging the book by its cover? but hopefully he Mavrapanos and another can park Zouma on the bench because i cannot see us selling him for any money with the state of his knees.
Regarding buisness it is a refreshing change to all the dithering we have had to suffer in recent times so lets hope we can keep it up and get our targets in before other clubs start sniffing and the price goes up.

I agree we will have no hope of moving him on he wouldn't pass a medical i think we are stuck with him till his contract runs out next season.

You couldn't buy Zouma in a pound shop. Jeffing cart horse. Not even good enough for the Sunday local park league. Even when the VAR ball bag utd centre backs are 3 parts pissed from the night before!

The money moyes has wasted over his time here when you actually look at it is not very good.Hugill,Ings,Cornet,Benrahami,Aguerd,Zouma,Scamacca,Haller,Philips,i'm sure there are a few more but all will or have made a loss i hope the pearl diver will come into his fore now moyesball has left.
