In fairness I couldn't believe the starting line up. But apart from a few scares we are solid. Kilman is a collosus at the back. Antonio is off the pace and needs the hook at HT. It's so refreshing to watch this brand of football. Pacqueta is having a great game hasn't gone down like a fairy once. Very refreshing!

Only a matter of time at this rate...can't get the ball to stick up front Pacman not in the game Kudus as well Bowen once more on the periphery and it wont be long before Eze does Coufal....thank god for the crossbar.

Played very well at the heart of the defence alongside kilman did think it was going to be a bit harsh when Todibo came on but thankfully Jlo left him on as he deserved it.....Kilman carrying the ball out of defence looks good..Soucek what can you say he does it so often.....Antonio not good again Kudus not really in the game and same for Bowen yet he scored...... still a lot of jigging needed to sort out who will be a main starter as the season goes on but all you can say is we won and we had to.

The one thing I got out of this perfomance was confidence & cohesion, been missing for ages ,you could feel the confidence oozing out of them with every substitution ,it can only get better after this ,roll on Shitty next week .

Thank goodness that he had his wits about him after he scored.
That poor ball boy could have been crushed.
Well done to Bowen and the other players who spotted what happened.

I watched the first half and then went to bed (01.30) convinced we would lose. I thought we were wide open for the counter and no shape or structure (too used to Moyesball now) in defence. Going forward we looked good, AWB looked great, Kudus was again a handful, Paqueta was lively, all-round decent performance.

Man of the match and I think signing of the window ...Maximilian William Kilman
