It may have been noticed by the wonderful fellow hammers on this website that in the past couple of months, the site has been lacklustre in terms of content produced.
It is with a heavy heart to announce that after a long time of battling our father and hero, Neville, has passed away.
In honour of him, his wishes and his legacy, the org will continue to be run by his two sons.
His writing style may never be emulated but that's exactly what made it so special, he had so much love for this website and described it as a family.
He will forever remain in our hearts and most certainly his spirit will never fade and die.

God bless you Nev. It's not often I'm stuck for things to write. But the legacy you have created and your memory on this wonderful forum will live forever. I first joined this site in 2004 after being introduced to it by a fellow Hammer workmate.
I've visited it everyday since then. Your work was always second to none. Louis, your dad was one of the good guys. RIP Neville Nixon. My thoughts go out to you Louis and your family forever blowing bubbles......

So so sad. Condolences to you and your family. I first joined the Org in Feb 2006. Just before the Cup Final. For me the site was wonderful. Neville gave us all the opportunity to express ourselves and concerns. Many of us have been on here for a while and we are like brothers and sisters. Needless to say. Neville was our dad. What a family he created.
May Nev RIP. He will be missed. A great man.
