West Ham United were encouraged by the latest news from Graham Potter's words along with training photos showing Jarrod Bowen back in training, along with a video about Summerville which saw the likes of Todibo in.
Jean-Clair Todibo is currently targeting a return for the home match against Brentford on the 15th of February.
It is also to be said that Nicholas Fulkrug’s return will be quicker than expected, however… take of that what you will with that news because it came from dithering Dave upstairs not Potter.
It all just seems like a preemptive excuse for not signing a striker this window.
Despite the good news of Todibo and Bowen, the step back comes from the news that Lucas Paqueta is currently suffering a suspected groin injury, it isn’t expected to be a long one but it is most likely set to keep him out for the game against Chelsea.
Not only is this reinforced by the fact that he hasn’t trained this week, but along with our limited numbers, it’d be almost foolish to play the Brazilian.
Our Brazilian Magnifico has recently been the chosen one to play in the false 9 position, our doubts about Uncle Ingy have forced us to play Paqueta out of position, but it seems to be working, and under new management, you just end up admiring what a player he is and the dexterity he has.
On Monday night, not only would a result here boost the team’s morale even further, but it would be the sweetest of revenge for Graham Potter as he would love to return to the bridge and come back with 3 points.
Our backline receives a small boost with Mavropanos back from suspension after his red card against Crystal Palace, but after Potter’s intriguing four-wingback starting eleven against Aston Villa which saw us dominate, will we see Mavro back? Or will we be surprised again by another youth introduction?
Kaelan Casey has reportedly trained with the first team in these past few days, so perhaps he could see his first well-deserved start under Potter.
It was rumoured and spotted that a total of EIGHT youth players were involved in first-team training, the big question is, how many are involved in the matchday squad?

Louis. Mav being available is
Louis. Mav being available is not a boost. Regarding transfers I see Ferguson was introduced from the bench at Forest do I don't think there is any legs to that transfer. Why would you risk him? Little Big man is not planning on spending and hoping for damage limitation over the next few weeks.
A boost ??? Beg to differ
A boost ??? Beg to differ Louis ,allthough he had 2 fine back passes in the last 30 seconds tonight ,pity it was to the Chelsea keeper .
