Interested, considering, questioning, as well as asking for information, is all that has been going on at West Ham lately; no action, and it feels like we're being left out to dry.
However, in the most classic West Ham fashion possible, the club have had a bid rejected by Anderlecht for Mario Stroeykens after the club decided to offer HALF of Anderlecht's asking price for the Belgium midfielder. The Belgium giants are asking for €20,000,000, and we've offered €10,000,000, which is equivalent to £8.5 million. Unsurprisingly, with Sully at the forefront of the business strategy, we have an interest in a player and straight away we slash the asking price in half! That'll get em on our side.
Not to mention, that most certainly would've been paid across 5 years, along with a 5% sell-on clause.
Despite our dire need for a midfielder, our offers and supposed 'interest' have said otherwise. Low-ball chucked bids here and there along with endless rumours, and if you'd be interested in knowing the exact number of these ludicrous rumours from others, it would total 83 different players across the last 30 days.
Looking past the silly strings, Anderlecht are not willing to budge on their asking price and will want their €20,000,00 to be matched, otherwise the 'highly-rated' Mario will stay in Belgium for next season.
We did have a bid rejected, but perhaps we can offer them Guido Rodriguez... Maybe that'll help them budge Sully.
Hate to be a negative Nancy, but finding any aspect of positive news is non-existent, the furthest anyone could possibly reach is that we've got over two months until we return, that's the best I can think of for the time being.
It can't get worse can it...?

Shame we was not in better
Shame we was not in better shape financially. Could have picked up Quansah & Kelleher from Liverpool for £50m . Both young with good potential sell on value. Who would have improved the team.
Shame we have Sullivan as our
Shame we have Sullivan as our owner. We'll go nowhere until he sells. Lord knows what his asking price is, but for a club that doesn't own their own ground, anything in the region of 100mill should be more than enough. Sully seems to think we're worth way more.
Bids.
I just hope potter has a long list of players in mind because with sullivan in charge we might get the bottom of the list players but that won't be till dead line day. Most clubs especially european clubs offer very low bids to start with they have all got bargains from our club over the last few years to what we have paid.Bring back the Pardew era young players with energy and wanting to play for the badge and sell them at a profit when did that last happen?
I'm sure a lot of people
I'm sure a lot of people would be quietly content with this scenario. But I fear it may be jumping the gun at this instance. How long before Potter says sod this I'm off. I want to build this team. I have submitted a blueprint of players I want. I'm not getting them. It's already proven, I cant get anything out of the players from last season.
Therefore I will not be seen to fail and tarnish my already dodgy looking reputation. Leaving Sullivan to look relegation squarely in the face and look for yet another Manager!!
Then again Potter may be thinking, they've not been summoned back to training yet. Theres plenty of time for business?? The squad does not officially evolve until June 30th.
Who knows, with no noise coming out of the club. We can only speculate!
Perhaps that is Sullivan's
Perhaps that is Sullivan's game Boogers. Piss Potter off. Force his hand. Let him walk. But the longer he is in situ. The harder it will be to get a new manager to work with the current cack.
I think Potter will come good. Given the resources.
Exactly Enfield. We won't
Exactly Enfield. We won't know the outcome until Potter is given the tools he needs to do the job. In other words the list of players he's asked for. To build a squad in his minds eye, to go out and play for West Ham and make us great again.
It's all down to the diminutive dildo pedaling gnome...!!
How many resources
Do you want to give Potter Enfield? He had a squad of 27 to choose from last season at West Ham and a squad of 35 at Chelsea including pissing up £323 million on players. Couldn't do f**k all with either of em.
Deluded by name lol. Potter
Deluded by name lol. Potter inherited a pile of s**t at West Ham. Nobody could work with that and the injuries.
He may have had 35 players at Chelsea. But how many were his picks? He could have had 35 prime Messi's but he would have still won f**k all.
Besides. He only had 25 available for squad capacity.
The man has to be given a chance. He can't be held accountable for anyone in the current squad.
Not sure Enfield
That pile of s**t you refer too are mainly internationals that include Brazil, England, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Italy etc etc.
Potter couldnt get a tune out of them or the bloody Royal Pheromonic Orchestra!

Agreed Enfield, I've gone on
Agreed Enfield, I've gone on record countless times and said I'll judge him when he's brought in his own choices. I think we'll see a marked difference..
