Action and movement in the window has finally arrived, two names have finally been revealed, after a lot of fake ones, with the Hammers now interested in Charlie Cresswell and El Hadji Malick Diouf.
The Englishman who’s currently playing for Toulouse has been valued at £18,000,000 and is a player that Graham Potter & his team highly admire. Due to struggles with French finances, it is a real possibility that a deal could be completed for around the £15- £18 million mark.
Charlie Cresswell joined Toulouse last season for just €4,500,000, so the French side is aiming to 4x their original investment for the Englishman.
Another player who is closely on the radar is El Hadji Malick Diouf, the 20-year-old who is regarded as a youth prospect who would go straight into the squad and interchange with Scarles, as Emerson will leave the club this window.
Sparta Prague are demanding another €5 million on our €20 million offer. It is something that doesn’t seem far-fetched to make a deal possible to happen, especially seeing as the player has agreed on personal terms and wants to join the Hammers.
With Charlie being a central defender and Diouf being able to play in most positions on the left-hand side, it means we are also exploring other options than just our primary target of a central midfielder.

If we don't get a striker that can score goals, and a midfield that has energy in abundance, and a defence that tightens up we are in deep poop.If we can't offload our players till the end of transfer deadline we have no hope and Potter will be left out to dry which would be rather harsh because i feel if he can get his players in we might be surprised, but with sullivan in charge and no money as yet i don't relish Potters situation.Sullivan will only put money in at the very last minute and i feel Potters players he wants will long be gone to other clubs with much more insight and forward thinking?

Indeed he did Essex. A modern day equivalent of a Delivroo asylum seeker. Don't need that name associated with our club!
