Since obtaining shares in West Ham United, Daniel Křetínský hasn’t been a vocal owner or one that’s received threats through fans, however, it has recently come to light that the 27% club owner has been driving for an ‘ambitious’ manager after the hiring of Graham Potter and has been dismissal of the rumoured candidates, those names being Gary O’Neil, Slaven Bilic and Scott Parker.
The Czech billionaire has suggested that the Hammers pay the release clause of Fulham manager Marco Silva, which would set West Ham back another £8-£10m, in which the majority shareholder doesn’t see eye to eye with him. Instead, Nuno remains as the favourite candidate with Bilic still looming on the horizon.
Daniel Kretinsky has no faith nor belief in Graham Potter and considers the idea of Potter potentially turning around his fortunes as ‘obscene’.
The mass amounts of success within the last two appointments have driven Křetínský to push forward in managerial selection, but only owning 27% is holding any serious suggestion or idea back from being in contention.
David Sullivan’s hierarchy of decisions remains to be touched or discussed by any other fellow members of the board… the only fathomable solution that Křetínský could make is through buying more of the club, perhaps enough for a majority stake, only 24% to go Daniel!
Křetínský, at this moment in time, is united with the board to get rid of Potter, but when it comes to selecting someone, his managerial suggestions end up in an abyss, seeing as they don’t fulfil the ‘free’ criteria rule that the Hammers seem bound to in every moment like this.

Sad to say Louis. But we more
Sad to say Louis. But we more than likely, well 99% to be exact. Wont get anyone who is currently employed in the Premier League. Championship, not sure, but it's a possibility.
I'd love Silva, as would others. He shows passion on the touchline and Fulham are a bloody good side now. He's youngish and dynamic, would be ideal. But as long as the board are in place we'd be just aswell hiring Ted Lasso...
Its all about the money / return
Kretinsky only motive is financial return. He can see that the value of WH will and is dropping and that the leading circus clown Sullivan continues to make bad appointment in the recruitment of the biggest job in the business... Coach / Manager.
The track record of Sullivan is shameful, never "buys" in a top successful manager, even from the start with Zola, who they inherited, through to Potter, most, if not all were unemployed at the time. I think Bilic cost a very small sum but that was probably more than lost by the compensation payout.
Billionaires
Worrying over millions....not caring about football just the bottom line and that is the only reason Kretin and co are having meetings because in reality if the manager is not up to the job it does not take an entire board vote to get shot of the man...again it is being dragged out because they will have to pay Potter a few million to get rid of him and those with him it is really pathetic and obscene to be honest.
Potter will not walk he wants the payday Sullivan trying to hold off on giving him the boot and the payday and all you hear is who is free to replace a manager we got for free that proved to be useless....it truly is a circus and the little ringmaster does not care how he looks he has his woman to do his fighting for him!.
And finally the slashing of prices in the Brentford game shows you how worried the board are as the protests will keep coming and gathering momentum until the bloody lot of them are gone...of course we will be the Sheff Wed of the south by then with big local derbies against QPhaa/Charlton/Scum and Orient in the very near future...Billionaires fuckem i say.
Well said Mac,its all about
Well said Mac,its all about money.
FFS! What is it
With this love affair over Silva? Failed and relegated at Hull, sacked at Watford in the relegation zone, sacked at Everton also in the relegation zone and a mediocre track record at Fulham hovering mid table. I have a good mate who is a Fulham guy and he's told me to stop moaning about our football and come and watch Fulham and to bring a pillow.
I thought we wanted to move forward and Silva definitely isn't going to do that, and don't start me off on Nuno because he had a one season wonder purple patch at Forest.
Huh?
What about several years at wolves.
Everyone who is linked
Everyone who is linked Deluded, you dont want. It's irrelevant now anyway as we're getting Nuno.
Who the fvck did you want?
I wanted
Frank before we appointed what to me, was an obvious clown. Go back through my history.
Yes I know you wanted Frank.
Yes I know you wanted Frank. But Frank is not available anymore. So who did you want instead of Nuno?
I've already set my stand
See the "Sullivan Stalls As Two Fixtures Remain" post where I put my serious suggestion. And in another post, can't remember which one, I half jokingly said, if we're gonna go down, to bring in DiCanio. At least we'd go down fighting the West Ham Way
