As the 2025/26 season comes to a close, it means that the Premier League’s ban of betting front-of-shirt sponsors will officially be introduced, which means West Ham United will have to change from Boyle Sports, allowing the betting company to become a sleeve sponsor, which still remains to be allowed.
In the event that the Hammers do face the drop on Sunday, it means that Boyle Sports will remain at the front shirt sponsor as the new rule introduction isn’t the same for the Championship.
In light of this Premier League rule, as well as with the belief that the Hammers would be staying up, West Ham had an agreement in principle to be sponsored by Audi next season - though, safety was required for the deal to go forward.
Unfortunately, as West Ham’s survival hopes are as slim as they possibly could be, Audi has subsequently snubbed the Hammers and will sponsor Aston Villa next season instead.
Audi were willing to pay West Ham within the region of £10,000,000 - £15,000,000 per season. This would’ve likely included other rights such as sponsorship around the stadium as well as opening the door to a possible deal for the naming rights, but that had only been briefly discussed.
Assuming that West Ham remain in the Premier League on Sunday, the club will likely be sponsored by Air Thailand for next season, with Boyle Sports moving to a sleeve sponsor.

Hopefully dirty Leeds won't
Hopefully dirty Leeds won't tear us a new one. Meaning we require a wizards sleeve for next season......Taxi!
I'd be more pleased
If shirt sponsership was done away with altogether. And while we're at it get rid of these "Respect" and "Kick Racism Out" badges as well. They don't solve anything, if anything, provokes it more. At least the poxy taking the knee has gone.
