Ok gang. The morning after the night before. Now the dust has settled. Lets take stock of the situation.
First off. Almost grabbing the defeat out of the jaws of victory, is inexcusable. We've seen this way too many times before. This cannot happen again and Nuno needs to sort his shit out. But for the woodwork and Scarles goal line clearance, we would be looking at 0 points this morning.
Burnley came down with us. They are in the same position, but without the favourites tag. Serial yo-yo act they maybe? But I expect them to finish top 6 at the end of the season. So looking at things objectively we got an away point. Not a loss and still somehow remain unbeaten so far in pre season to date.
We have a very talented squad, but when you look at the outgoings in waiting. The cracks appear and it starts to become thin to say the least. Wan Bissaka, Todibo, Alvarez, Fulkrug, Cornet, Magassa. Whatever your opinion on these guys. They are all good players. They maybe aren't the right fit for us anymore. Thats why they will be leaving before Sept 1st.
On that note. we must get proper Championship hungry replacements in. Proven players, who can scrap and produce quality. Nuno is on thin ice and borrowed time. He is far too cautious and because of our situation, it magnifies the scrutiny on him and his tactics.
As for yesterday. Better to get that performance out of the way, in the first game of the season. I sincerely doubt 2 points will make a difference at the end of 46 games. The board had better sort there shit out and back Nuno. Or Nuno will be history, although maybe that's not such a bad thing.
If Pablo got a knock yesterday, then I can see why JWP came on. Although wouldn't Earthy of been a better option. I'm guessing with Kante and Orford already playing. It was maybe a bridge too far. Having all the youngsters on, so caution was the winner.
Ultimately caution was our undoing. We got away with one. Engles will come in, Soucek will be available soon. Maybe Parrot will come. Or as someone mentioned why not Flemming? He's done it in the Premier League for Burnley. He did it yesterday and looks powerful.
All I know is. If we don't get a resounding victory at the BOM on Saturday. With 55,000 strong fans against Charlton. Things are going to get very ugly, very ugly indeed.

I dunno why he's so reliant
I dunno why he's so reliant on the washed up prem players ,kilman and J W P ,even at this level their clearly not good enough ,and anyone who thinks Pablo is going to make it is deluded .
Digging in a bit deeper I would say all this working class hero shite in regards to Bowen is a bit much ,in my opinion there didn't seem to be much interest in him that a lot of us thought there'd be .
Felt very sorry for Scarls , I know it was a stupid tackle but did he deserve to be pulled off over it ?, I think not ,best thing to come out of yesterday's effort imo was the young guys Soliman and Ortford ,solid.
I have never had any faith in this manager ,seems to me his only accolade was bringing wolves up ,(or was it Forest ) can't remember ,he seems to be even more defensive minded than Moyes.Get rid and get in someone with a bit of personality' ,bit of Charisma .
Parrots not coming
This brave new world of DK's has a familiar feel about it with the club deciding to go for the cheaper option rather than pay and extra £4million.
As for yesterday i would not blame Bowen for reconsidering his decision to stay or blame Taty as neither were in the game as they had little to no service of any kind.
Negative Nuno out and no i would not like to see Howe replacing him rather have whats his name who was alongside Nuno and had the passion and the drive to put us on the front foot.

Eddie Howe is NOT an option which is one reason I'm not an out an out fan of Stavely getting in even though she'd probably be better for the club in the long run.
