West Ham United are set to take on Lincoln City at the ProAmpac tomorrow at 20:00, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports’ main event.
The Hammers will be looking to improve on their Friday night performance after a dismal showing at the London Stadium against QPR and will hope to achieve their first win in over a month.
The Hammers currently sit 3rd in the Championship, but could possibly drop to 9th in the League table before kick-off on Wednesday evening. However, looking ahead, three points could propel the Hammers on closing in on Middlesbrough, who sit on 18 points in 2nd place and are facing 4th place Stoke City on Tuesday night, whilst Swansea City sit on top of the table, facing Millwall before facing the Hammers on Saturday in Wales for what will be a crucial outing regardless of the midweek results.
The referee for tomorrow’s outing is a man that many Hammers fans are familiar with, Andrew Kitchen. His most recent game that involved the Hammers was against Charlton, where his name rang around the stadium to something of the words: “Kitchen, you’re a cook” - perhaps I can’t remember!
Regarding team news, the Hammers should have a fully fit side, provided no unexpected injuries occurred after the QPR match. Joel Veltman is expected to have recovered from his lengthy injury, which was suspected to be his hamstring, whilst Mohamadou Kante is also available to return to the squad having served his one-game suspension.
With a fully fit side, the Hammers need to be able to take the challenge to this impressive Lincoln side and secure a crucial victory on the road and hopefully kick-starting the beginning of what will be a run in form, where the Hammers will face Swansea, Southampton and West Brom all in a row and all sides competing for the automatic promotion spots.
Nuno Espírito Santo can’t afford to make any blunders this time round, but the biggest tell of them all will be the starting squad… fingers crossed for anything but the 4-3-3.

I'm not bothered any more
I'm not bothered any more ,the Championship is far more entertaining than the prem ,it's full of corruption and full of Superstar prema donors, the first thing we have to do is forget about Slowchec, for one thing he's not a midfielder ,far to slow and clumsy,he should have started his career as a central defender of as a Forward.
I agree , he's a real nice guy but that doesn't win you championship's.
