That performance and result is not acceptable under any circumstances...the psychological scars are now there for any team to turn up at the Boleyn and roll us over. Bilic and the board need to do something before the window shuts. This situation will only get worse with some real toughies to come (citeh & poo away). This season could turn out to be a catastrophe if we are now relying on Maiga for goals....oh for those halcyion days of Carlton Cole and BFS.
you winding me up Spud ?
you winding me up Spud ?
The Good old Days
Ha,Ha lets see if we can coax Callum Davenport out of retirement too..
Jeez this used to be a good site
Ive heard it all now....
First time
In 48 years, I've left early. No plan, no organisation, no teamwork, no fuckin idea. Don't think Bilic knows his best team, certainly doesn't know where to play them. Clueless
Bring back sam!
Bring back sam!
Blimey youve got some patience deluded!
I can remember lots of times in nearly 50 years of supporting westham that me & thousands of other hammers have left early...didnt know it was a new phenonomen....
Not being funny mate
But I remember when we lost 3 games 0-4 on the bounce under Curbishley starting with the home defeat against Chelsea. I stayed to the end despite half the crowd walking out after about twenty minutes
Agree ive rarely done it myself.
But i can understand if people do it!Gets to a stage where you cant watch anymore....
And Yesterday
Was that stage. Doesn't help that I am not a Bilic fan, am disillusioned with this transfer window and the childish antics of the board and that I really do feel a depressing lack of confidence in this team and what I have seen so far this season. Couldn't even work out what the formation was yesterday. Some talking about diamonds, some talking about christmas trees. All I saw was chaos...........................against lil old Bournemouth!!!
I agree its not good.
But at least bilic is not defending the players, like him or loathe him,no one is feeling the pressure more than him....
Gutter scrapping
These two teams who have just rolled us over at home are going to be at the wrong end of table come May scrapping it out...what does that say about out prospects, worrying times, we'll have the bestest shiniest stadium the championship has ever seen.
I've just paid £130 in ticket
I've just paid £130 in ticket and train money to watch that shite, never been so disappointed with a performance, the formation he uses is a joke, a diamond midfield that gives us no width and gives the opposition all the space in the world. What I can't believe is the total lack of effort from the players, absolute joke
You cant have width with no
You cant have width with no wingers in the squad.
We managed to in the second
We managed to in the second half, basic tactical errors by Bilic, instead of taking off ogbonna he should've taken off Nolan for Jarvis and dropped the diamond shape
so poor today,lets give it
so poor today, lets give it time :/
Oh crikes
Such an incompetent display from our defence. Mad me cringe at times. I am not sure what formation Bilic is trying to impose but it is not working. That first half was one of the worst I have seen for some time. Some players looked so lethargic in that first half. Not sure how fit some of them are. Words are failing me but this is so disappointing. We seem so jittery at home. Liverpool next!
Terrible two games at home
I always knew Bilic was not going to be brilliant but probably the best we could hope for he knows his job but I agree he does not have an idea about his players.
Why oh why oh why oh why was Nolan playing from the start, I expected a lot more intelligence from Bilic although the whole west ham team were poor and I am not singling him out but he is utter cack Noble too is never going to be what we wish to believe he could be he is just not that good.
Gold and Sullivan must open there eyes and have a chat with the manager pull there wallet out and buy a midfielder and striker of quality quick.
Heheheheh
Pmsl
I agree with you Dicks.
I agree with you Dicks.
Today
On the tube talking to some of the away fans they mentioned that they attack from wide positions really well, which I responded with the fact that our full backs had an absolute shocker last week and were there for the taking. What I didn't expect to see was our full backs to be exposed again and to be made to look like non-league standard footballers. I have to say that Jenkinson's performance today was the worst I have ever seen in a West Ham shirt and I hope to god that I never see anyone play that bad again in claret and blue, absolute crap!
The gaps between the play and the lack of width was appalling in the first half and we should have been 4-0 down at half time. We compressed the play better and pushed at the beginning of the second half but, after pulling the game to 2-2, we fell asleep again and got punished. We got lucky against Arsenal, they didn't turn up if we are honest, and now we are being slaughtered by teams that we expected to get points against and at home so I'm feeling very negative and concerned.
You presented that too fair for me chief
We were basically given a cesarean at home.
Nicely put DH
I couldn't believe how bad the first half was today, why didn't we sign Trippear for £3.5m?
Good post mate.
Says it all for me...
All I can say is mickey
All I can say is mickey mousers better brace themselves for a mighty west ham backlash
I don't think it's unfair to
I don't think it's unfair to question the tactics/ formation yesterday. We started with a very narrow midfield which after 15 mins you could see was going to have problems, the fullbacks were receiving the ball and had no options out wide and nobody was trying to help them out by wanting the ball, the only outlet was Sakho running the channel or to dither around with it at the back, why he used a sub by replacing Ogbonna God only knows, all of the back four were poor along with the entire midfield, my opinion is he should've just changed the formation and maybe replaced Nolan with Jarvis to give us some width. In the second half he did change the formation and we looked a lot better, the midfield wanted the ball, Noble and Kouyate both upped their game and we got back to 2-2, we then gift them a third and fourth goal and that was the end of that, although Maiga took his goal well. There's one big worry though, the apparent lack of effort from the players particularly in the first half, they must've known Bournemouth would be up for it so they at least needed to match their effort. As a side note I thought Randolph looked very good, he made 2 or 3 very good saves and commanded his area well, don't see the point in wasting money on Green after that showing
How has cresswell gone from
How has cresswell gone from being one of the top full backs to be utter tosh. Reid who was wanted by arsenal, Wenger is probably saying "thank god I didn't sign him". Noble who was player of the year 3 years of the last 4 has turned into a player who looks like he never played before. Are the players really happy about bilic? I never seen such dismal defending since we had Grant. What was jenkinson at for the sending off? Thats 2 games in a row he has been destroyed and its amazing that the only game we have won and kept a clean sheet was when he wasn't playing. I can't wait for the next 2 games to be over cos they won't get anything from them, i just hope they keep the scoreline respectable
