Someone somewhere needs their head examining for handing Mikey Antonio a new improved contract extension without insisting he give up his International commitments to Jamaica, it surely MUST have been a mandatory requirement hat he retire from International football as part of his deal.
Mikey is not a spring chicken anymore and has suffered horrendous hamstring issues in the past, having been rejected by England on numerous occasions the 31 year old finally chose to represent his parents country of birth, Jamaica. All well and good IF the games he had to play were in sync with the rest of the football calendar, unfortunately they are NOT!
While others enjoy an incredibly hard earned 'winter break' for a few days respite, Big Mick is jetting off over 11,000 miles to play possibly as MANY as THREE Games in just SIX DAYS! It beggars belief that the club will allow their one and only striker to embark on such a strenuous routine, especially given how knackered he has looked of late.
David Moyes has stated how 'pleased' he is to see his players represent their Countries, but Mikey is from South London, NOT Jamaica! He has done his bit for his Mum and Dad, he's got the Cap and that should be it, end of. Moysie HAS to sit Mikey down and INSIST he retire from International football, pure and simple.
The club simply CANNOT AFFORD to send Mikey away with their blessing, unless it is all part of a cunning plan for him to get injured in order to clear the way for a new striker to become top dog, it is only a joke scenario we have just suggested, but isn't sending Mikey off the biggest joke of all? - LN

All true. Perhaps the Moyes
All true. Perhaps the Moyes-iah thinks Sonny Perkins is ready. (That's a weak attempt at another big joke by the way.)
I think it's a bit like the
I think it's a bit like the Jamaican Bob Sleigh team. Big Mich is like a competition winner playing for Jamaica. He'd play for them every week at the moment. Can you imagine the crack he has when he joins up with that squad. Theres no way he'd give that up, when he's only just got the gig....
West Ham deserve everything
West Ham deserve everything they get with some of the stunts they pull. All Antonio is doing is going for a Jolly up! What does he honestly feel he is going to achieve playing for Jamaica at this stage of his career. Playing for them is detrimental to his club.
Now we read that Moyes can't sign the Blackburn striker as he is off on International duty with Chile. Christ, they have gad 3 weeks in this window already us months to identify targets prior to the window opening. Moyes was even given a hand to identify targets with Rob Newman. Just as well got Paul Newman in for the good he has done. Also getting pissed off with reading about Newcastle going for all our targets and blowing us out the water? Really. If that's the case do we want players who want the money & a relegation dogfight over Euopean adventures. There is a certain youn striker who is a full International and plays for Sparta Prague. That should be a straight forward deal. What's the hold up? Moyes not sure? Well I tell you. Anyone would be better than a crocked, knackered Antonio when he returns from Jamaica.
