Sometimes David Moyes' press conferences verge from being totally tongue in cheek to totally inept depending on your point of view, the Hammers manager has always maintained a glib poker face when discussing who will or will not be available to feature in the coming fixtures.
Moyes has been 'at it again' as he carefully attempts to play down possible player participation for this Sunday's London derby against bitter rivals Tottingham! The North Londoners are currently blowing hot and cold at the moment and are experiencing a mini injury crisis that includes their manager who is staying in Italy to recover with his family following his gall bladder operation from which we hope he recovers fully, but NOT before Sunday!
You couldn't make up Hammers injury list which is as long as it is wide in the consequences it might yet have before the end of what has turned out to be an extremely troubled season, hopes of a attaining a similarly lofty finish to the last two seasons was long since consigned to the rubbish bin, all thoughts are now on Premier League survival.
The coast is far from clear because MOST of the teams in the bottom six have spent big or changed managers or both in the last few weeks, meaning there is little room between each of the teams struggling. Like most observers though, as we have previously mentioned, we cannot see the logic in putting TWO goalkeepers on the bench when there are a plethora of young keen players at the club desperate to prove their worth, what is gong on?
We always tried to avoid jumping on the Moyes Out bandwagon, but some of his recent decisions have forced a rethink, it seems that things have been getting to him and making him make 'strange' selections of the team while also favouring certain players who are clearly not up for the job.
A win or draw on Sunday will merely perpetuate the delay between reaching the final decision to replace Moyes, unfortunately his time has been and the club needs a new manager to move forward, NOT one of the 'old' regulars, but someone with an eye for the future and not the past. -Ed

He does not know why we start slowly? beggars belief....as always with our club when we are on the verge of doing something special we shoot ourselves in the foot......Cannot have a dig at the board as they have provided the funds where they lack nouse is in keeping a manager who is clearly limited and they could pay a big price indeed with all the investment going down the pan if relegated and that is a very very real possibility

What is your definition of right club? One with shed loads of money? Sorry but in my opinion, Leeds are not exactly skint and also have a pretty decent squad of players and a good striker who is playing in a system that is not suited to his game. They shouldn't be where they are, and just like West Ham that is down to the manager.
I'd give Lampard a bit of the benefit of the doubt as Everton are rotten to the core, but when one looks at the list of managers that Lampard has played under, from 'Arry to Pep Guardiola then you'd think he would have taken a bit of it all in. There's really only one young manager out there impressing me at the moment and that would be Arteta at Arsenal, especially with his use of bringing in youngsters. That actually begs the question whether the youngsters West Ham are bringing up really are up to scratch at all, compared to the set up at Arsenal.
Moyes, worse than just being a dinosaur just simply has no plan B and can only play in one way. Much is made of what a great squad of players West Ham have, but do we? Individually they may well be, but as a collective team of eleven playing together then in my opinion its just a mismatch of eleven individuals. And I couldn't for the life of me see Marsch, Lamps or even Arteta doing much better. If it were down to me there would be a massive clearout in summer with only two, maybe three I'd keep on and one of them is pretty much guaranteed to be out the door come next season.

Right club meaning,in the sense of suiting all round,the understanding of a clubs requirements,being abled to manage on a shoestring or exccessive funds,the overall running of the club,suiting the individual,works well with Chairman,ownership etc,i dont know who owns Leeds now,but it wasnt that long ago being run by some mad Italian highlighting the club with his inapropriate dealings.Some managers have a good playing career but cant cut the mustard in management,Lampard comes from a footballing family yes,and managed by the best,but dosent mean he can manage,either tactically or as a leader of men.Lets take Brian Kidd for example,good player,Fergies right hand at Man U for years,must of took something on board,went on to manage Blackburn,couldnt make the grade,now Peps right hand at City,can only make a good assistant.Now looking at us as a club,we all have had our input re ownership etc and limited funds,but we have spent a fair bit under Moyes,and i do agree with you,perhaps not all spent wisely,and feel we need a good clear out,keeping only a few,i personally think Scammacca isnt all that and still would put Big Mick before him with assistance up front,overall i dont think we have a great squad.Arteta is good,as for us at this stage may aswell stick with Moyes now to at least the end of the season.
