Better To Compromise Than Be Compromised!

Irons go into this weekend's fixture at home against Palace knowing they really need a positive result against their London rivals, followed by an equally positive performance against Leicester City in the following game. Having secured top spot in their Europa Conference League group with a game to spare AND having successfully navigated 'murder' October with it's insane amount of fixtures, David Moyes will have reached a cross roads whereby he can try and push the club on with a slightly more front foot style of football or whether to settle for a safe mid table position and progress to the finals of the Conference Cup which of course brings with it qualification for next season's Europa League Cup.

With the amount of talent he has at his disposal questions are being asked as to if Moyes will 'unleash the beast' that he has in his squad or play safe? The beast in question is not one but TWO players, Big Mikey Antonio AND Gianlucca Scamacca up front together, ON THE SAME PITCH AT THE SAME TIME! Surely it is worth a punt for a couple of games, or at least a couple of first halves.

In Antonio and Scamacca Hammers have two players who can absolutely 'monster' the opposition IF the team is set up to give them the supply they need, there is no point in having the two of them running around chasing the ball all of the time, far better to have one lurking near the box and the other pulling the defence in directions they don't want to travel.

David Moyes is one of the Premier League's most experienced managers ever, but perhaps he could try throwing a little bit of caution to the wind and 'go brave', Palace are suffering their own mini injury crisis and will definitely NOT be at their full strength for Sundays game in front of a sell out crowd at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium.

It may NOT work out, but IF Moyes does get his team to start the game on the front foot instead of trying to contain an under strength opposition, then there could be joy and if it fails fans will at least have been given a vision of an 'attacking' Hammers team, it is not as if David Moyes doesn't have the players available is it?

If Moyes CAN come up with the perfect compromise, he will have done far better than to wait until his tactics have been compromised. LN

Been saying this for 6 weeks or more, why don't they play together. Otherwise Le Grand Sausage and his team of merry men will wipe the floor with us.

Play scam up front and Antonio behind on left. Two up front together I don't think works. They'll never see the ball.

Yes i would play them together,it would be forceful and free up one to move into space,it would stretch the opposition defence apart.
