As most expected, unchanged. Watch out for the early goal Brentford start!

At least Nuno has stayed with tried and tested. Not expecting anything from this game so a point would be nice, 3 ,out of this world

But this is exactly why we are in a mess.....Reactive manager instead of a proactive one.....we defend we fuck up then the players have to got forward and surprise surprise we look better...post hit twice bar also hit goal ruled out for offside by a gnats pube all by playing more on the front foot but nope not fron the start and so we chased and we lost handing the spuds the initiative that win tomorrow and we are back in the shit and thats down to negative tactics..i called 3-0 in another post and the thirds just gone in.
Arsenal next so more goals conceded and Onwards to another defensive game against the barcodes and then last home game against Leeds panic will set in and Nuno will have to attack from the off everything that goes against his way.....truly getting what we deserved....not we the fans but the management from boardroom to bootroom.

Just sounds silly. Created loads chances. Unlucky. Yet you still hound nuno on his tactics. This ismt FM.

How about creating chances before we go behind eh?and where were the chances at Palace? got Lucky against Everton last week....so whilst we did create in the end its only after the defence first tactics once again fail

2 wins, a draw and loss in last 4 games. 7 points. Who wouldnt take that?

Is how I see the game. Post twice, bar once, screamer from Taty well saved and IMO, a good penalty claim on Pablo overlooked. Any other day.....
Bowen failure to cut out cross for first, silly penalty by Diouf and Traore and Fernandes daydreaming for their third.
We'll do Arsenal 1-0

Talking about silly , anyone noticed Bowens slump in form over the last couple months, its just a hunch but what a get out of jail chance for him ,who's going to blame him for slinging his hook if we go south . personally I think he'd be off even if we did stay up , just saying .

Been calling for him to be dropped for some time, he's a passenger. Just a thought though. He isn't carrying an injury is he?

My lad keeps banging on about Bowen and his assists so lets break it down a bit.
He's only had 10 assists this season (compared to say, Bruno Fernandes 19) and five of those assists were corners. This season is only the second season in all his seasons with us that he has hit double figures of assists (10 in season 21/22) as his usual tally is around 4 or 5 a season. I'm not a great fan of using corners as a stat for assists but when you realise that Bowen has taken 51 corners it does make that stat look even worse. Much more worse is seeing that he only has 48 assists in total over his whole career with us and taken 387 corners, a tad over 12% return.
I really can't be arsed to go through a season by season return on assists/corners, but whatever stats anyone wishes to throw as a counter to these figures will not make me change my mind that Bowen, these last few months has been absolute pony and beingdropped might just be a kick up the jacksie he needs.

But all stats etc...if we dropped bowen for everton, we wud have 3 points less?

Bowen is in the top 3 strikers on FF combining goals, assists, bonus points. He's got me out the shit once or twice. Luckily it was Leeds Okafor this week for me Capt and 20 points...

I think there were positives here we did go at them,3 times hitting woodwork, and goal chalked off,we could of had 4 goals there, thats unlucky, just didnt bury the chances, but seems alot worse because of our position, and especially them wankers on our tail.

looking like our points total will be 39 not enough unless the scum stay crap along with all their injuries here's hoping

rely on others. My mate is a Villa fan and he says they are Dog S*** at the moment, not feeling optimistic.

As for today, just one of those days, hitting the woodwork etc. Plenty of good possession but against any team in the prem they will hit you on the counter and Brentford are excellent in transition.

I've a feeling Zeberdi will have the spuds bouncing by now and they will win convincingly. Totally turning there season around mores the pity..
