Come Back Kehrer The Mo(u)yse Has Left The Hoose!

Thilo Kehrer is a top Hammers player currently out on loan at Monaco, he gave his all for the club when called upon and helped glue the defence and midfield together for the last half hour of the club's glorious Conference European Cup Final victory over Fiorentina.

Another player that exiting manager David Moyes didn't 'fancy', and there have been many, Thilo oozed class and although he had the odd ricket in his game had the speed generally to recover his mistakes.

A centre back by nature he was also capable of filling in at right back AND left back, in other words an ideal utlity player, the likes of which the club missed so sorely towards the end of this season.

27 year old Kehrer is fluent in French, English and German and has slotted in at Monaco easily, the club have an option to buy him although the price isn't fixed which means Hammers could demand top dollar for him OR recall him for next season, the latter choice being a no brainer now that David Moyes is leaving!

There is going to be the need for a massive rebuild this summer, but the club have Kehrer AND Flynn Downes on their books already, which will make the rebuild just that little bit easier. - Ed

I always liked Kehrer and at 15 million and a full regular German International at the time. Bargain of the century it seemed. He was quick, strong typical German machine.

Moyes was such an arse, freezing players out. Deluded is right. Benrahma is a quality technical player. His confidence was severely impacted by Moyes tactics. Once upon a time he would break out and run with the ball. Shame he ended up running just into the opposition half. Then heading back in to his own half for a square lay off.

Loopy tagi seemed to like compact technical types throughout his side. Benrahma and Kehrer fit that bill. Downes never got a chance. But I could see him in there in a Neves, Moutiniho type role that Loopy used every game. I think Soucek will be worried, Alvarez not so much.

Most of all the players must be breathing a huge sigh of relief that this dull, uninspiring, bilge of football is soon to be no more...

I personally would like kehrer back he is a very versatile player and has speed can't be no worse than hop along zouma will need a couple of defenders any way downes should be brought back and given a fair chance.

But until we know who the man in charge is going to be he and us will be in Limbo but a quality player like himself and Benny along with Downes could thrive in a new enviroment that does not choke the life out of players.
Not everyones cup of tea i know but i would love it if we could get Johnson to change his mind on leaving....he is another good utility player and IMO not let us down when called upon....with the moyesaurus gone maybe just maybe players will be prepared to give it another go.

I think we need to get a grip. All managers have players they don't get on with for one reason or another. I remember thinking benhrama was an ok sub but wasteful and usually a disappointing starter?

Now suddenly knives out for moyes

He's going it's done. Whatever way you look at it he got us in Europe a few times, won a trophy.

I say thanks and good luck to him

Yes time has come to move on. New guy will have new ideas. Will it get us in Europe? Time will tell and hopefully he uses his experience to do just that.

In the meantime, I'm laying off moyes. He's not perfect, no manager is but at end of the day all managers simply want to do well. It's not an easy job.

Farewell and good luck moyes

He's fucked up this club VAR ,who would go for Oggy and Zouma in their right mind, relying on poor old Ant all the Time and when that didn't work he'd bring on uncle Ings with 2 minuets to go ,Slowchec was no 1 on his team pick every week ,Stubborn as a concerted crap ,I'm so glad he's gone

Lets just see how good Moyes is with his next appointment. All these expert pundits suggesting he will get a good job but non prepared to commit to a given club.

so... Spudz not happy with Ange, see him there? No a chance.

Chavski not happy with Potch... see him there?

Man U, ditch the Dutch for him? no chance, already failed there

Liverpool... LOL!!!

City / Arse... wouldnt make their top 100 list

Nev: Maybe we can start a competition to guess where he lands? Im going for Ipswich once the young manager moves on to a bigger club.

You were giving the impression that Moyes had done a good job. well, if he's so good then he will find another bigger job.

On the subject of relevance, why did you start a thread on Moyes when the head line subject was players to be brought back from loan?

I wish him well of course I do. I thank him for the trophy and the European times.

But he should have gone out at the top. Left with Declan at the end of the season with a trophy. He would have left a legacy. Held in high esteem, had his name sung on the terraces.

Now I've been to games and sung "we know what we are, we know what we are, Champions of Europe, we know what we are)!

I'm proud to sing that after 40 years and Moyes made that happen.

But going back to this season and particularly since Christmas. We have seen drubbing after drubbing. We shipped 5 at Craven Cottage in Dec, another 5 at Anfield 2 weeks later. After Moyes biggest surrender of the team picked to play Liverpool in the Moose Cup Semi. Then in January we got knocked out of the FA Cup. With a another pathetic display all because the players didn't fancy it in the cold down at Bristol. Then a pathetic 2-2 draw against Sheff Utd. Then in Feb we lose 3-0 to Man Utd followed by 0-6 to The Arse and 2-0 to Forest. No goals scored in 3 matches 11 goals conceded. Moyes never changed the defence in that time. Then after beating Freiburg handsomely we had the debacle at St James Park. Leading 3-1 to lose 3-4 incredible stupidity from Moyes with his substitutions.

Then last month we shipped another 5 at Palace, lost 0-2 to Fulham who completed the double over us. Couldn't lay a glove on Leverkusen in 2 games, but managed to squeak past Wolves away. Then on Sunday another 5 to Chelsea.

The point I'm making is people on here spend their hard earned money to go and watch inadequate displays. The buck stops with Moyes and our shocking defence with a shocking Captain. The legacy Moyes has left has now well and truly had the shine taken off it.

Some Orgers live in other countries, some follow West Ham, but never go to games for whatever reason, which is fine. But those of us on here that have had to put up with dire uninspiring negative football. Embarrassing results have the right to vent. You part with your hard earned, you have a right to be rewarded in performances. That's all.

Wish him well... really?

Ive been at the games when we sung "we know what we are, we know what we are, Champions of Europe, we know what we are" but lets be honest, it was tongue in cheek, in the same year that City won the CL ours was the third rate Euro Cup that even looked like a waste paper bin!

I wish him well Dartford as I wouldn't wish ill of anyone unless they had done something to my family.

I know it's a tongue in cheek song. That's why I love singing it. At least he gave us the chance to take the piss. As in the fact we sing "you'll never sing that, you'll never sing that, Champions of Europe, you'll never sing that. To Sheff Utd for instance!!!

As Bikey said Loppy ball anyone. Boogerscaravan Jnr still says Potterball, does he know something?? Or is he just being a little scoundrel??

Gave up mine ( fortunately) when leaving the Boleyn. I have the utmost admiration for those who have continued to pay on. Seriously, because no way would I have put up with this dross.
