Coufal Sees Red As Irons Crash Out Of Top 4

On a night to forget, West Ham's defensive options took a further hit as a very crowd influenced Anthony Taylor proceeded to give Hammers right back Vladimi Coufal TWO yellow cards meaning he will miss the next game which is against Norwich this Saturday.

The 2-0 defeat sees Hammers drop out of the top four of the Premier League, being replaced by last night's winners Arsenal, a team who have taken diving and whining to a new high or low depending on your view point, Mikail Arteta is swiftly becoming our least liked opposition manager!

Harrison Ashby will step out in front of a full house on Saturday afternoon, the only question will be who occupies the opposite full back position because quite frankly Authur Masuaku is a complete liability as a defender. Said Benrahma did little to smooth his already 'fractious' relationship with David Moyes, so don't be surprised to see the Algerian International being moved on IF a suitable bid were received from say, Newcastle?

The impending winter transfer window represents an opportunity to help redress the squad's balance, unfortunately that might come just a little bit too late to repair the damage to the unlikely Champions League push that Moyes had been aiming for.

Sooner or later the paucity of Hammers squad was always going to bite, only at the moment it seems more like a huge chunk rather than a little nibble! - ED

The wafer thin squad that we have was always going to hit a brickwall eventually so many games in such a short space of time was always going to take its toll physically and mentally on the players and being West Ham we do seem to love our injuries to cluster around one area of the team and with Vlads suspension adding to that we are really starting to suffer.

Moyes now needs to utilise his squad a bit more and give some players a rest and others a chance and playing Norwich who are truly woeful it is a time to give thought to formation and resting a couple of players.....Kral for Soucek and try Vlasic up top instead of a clearly out of form Antonio for starters....or maybe play Bowen alongside him and have two up top because we should not be worrying about a side like Norwich at home if we have real ambitions to keep challenging.

Talkin about Clopp did any one see Mike Deans performance at Anfield tonight ?, 2 incidents in perticular, 1 a blatant head injury in the box ,Dean lets play go on and with a Newcastle player prostrate right on the peno spot and as sure as eggs are eggs the the Scousers score ,2 exactly the same tackle as Coufal got a red card for in the red box and its play on !!!,never mind a penalty, i felt rearly sorry for the Newcastle team they were treated harshly by Dean ,the git was clearly playing to the cop end ,by the way the B T commentators, think one of them is called Ian Dark and the other one was our old frien Mcmanemenmem, were something else ,you'd thin it was the chairman and secretary of their supporters club .

There was an equally GLARING bias by Andre Marriner towards Arsenal in their game against Leeds tonight!!
Xhaka came in with an ankle breaker on a Leeds player and he didn't even give a free kick let alone a yellow/red card.
Almost twenty seconds later a Leeds player did a carbon copy tackle and was immediately yellow carded and a free kick given.
Oh and Michael Oliver was on VAR.
Enough said!!
