West Ham United have announced this morning that Daniel Křetínský has become the majority shareholder of West Ham after concluding a deal with the Gold family.
Daniel Křetínský will now hold a majority share worth 43%, but don’t expect that to be the last of it…
“As such, we have reached agreement on the key terms of a share purchase transaction between the Gold family and 1890 Holdings, which, subject to other Shareholders’ pre-emption rights and necessary approvals, would make 1890 Holdings (part of the broader group EP) the largest Shareholder in West Ham with an approximately 43% stake. As the largest Shareholder, group EP will be able to provide the additional financing the Club needs.
“We expect to finalise this transaction in the next couple of weeks. Once the agreement is complete, group EP and the Gold family have also agreed to vote jointly on key matters and to support the strategy targeting an immediate return to the Premier League.
“Alongside Daniel Křetínský and Vanessa Gold, the other Shareholders, namely Tripp Smith, Daniel Harris and Terry Brown, are fully aligned on this strategy and stabilising the Club.
“We are taking these steps because West Ham United needs to be truly united at this moment in its history. We believe that a strong coalition – of fans, players, management and the Board – is essential to securing the bright future this Club deserves. We are absolutely committed to playing our part.”
West Ham have also clarified that they were cued up on the Sullivan Situation, claiming that “the full West Ham United Board was not notified about these allegations against David Sullivan until approximately a month ago, when he informed us that certain allegations against him may be published. However, the full details of the allegations, which Mr Sullivan denies, only became apparent when they were made public on Monday (8 June). In addition, as communicated by West Ham United, the Board representatives of Shareholders other than Mr Sullivan were only made aware this week of the safeguarding measures that have been in place since 2023.”
A major share of 43% is step one to allowing the Hammers the ability to take a step in the right direction - however, Daniel Křetínský will now propose putting in £90M, the maximum amount, to help the debts that the club are currently suffering from, placing David Sullivan in a tricky position.
If David Sullivan decides to pass on his share of the £90M, which would be around the £35M mark, it means that, under corporate law, any unbought shares are offered to the remaining owners. Křetínský can simply step up and buy Sullivan’s unpurchased shares himself.
Daniel Křetínský having a majority share is what Hammers fans have been crying out for, but expect his now 43% stake to get bigger in just a matter of a short time.

We have overcome !We are free at last !It has taken sixteen long years to get rid of the Botty feelers and their girl Friday !It was on the backbenches of this very Org that myself and Brother Enfield ,The Headmaster warned everyone what the Botty Feelers were about ,or should we go back in time and call them as they were called .The Gobby one ,Sullivan and Gold ,his mate .Things got very heated back then with The Reverend often having to restore peace more often than not.
The Happy Clappers couldn’t get enough of the Cons .”They are fans !Go support Spurs ! “Was the familiar response from the Happy Clappers .The Gobby one and mate ran our Club like their sex shops back in the day .Shops when as a nipper you could nip into to a booth with one of their movies and watch it .Having a five tackle one while doing so .
But we were aware of the Cons party tricks before they got their dirty grubby lands on West Ham United .I was warned by Birmingham fans what to expect. .When Uncle Albert (Gold) and his mother Rose went to Rome and brought back water “blessed by the Pope”they claimed .They put the “Holy Water “ on sale at 3 quid a bottle on sale .This was in 1993 ffs !The only thing they ever cared about was money !They were excellent in playing the media !They leaked different ‘exclusives ‘ to different media people .To one they would say we had a 100m to spend ,the next media scribe they would say we were skint !
I had also been warned by Birmingham friends what to expect from the Botty feelers every summer .Before season ticket renewal time they would leak all sorts of exotic names .Which would whip the Happy Clappers into a frenzy !Invariably you would land up with loans ,a player the manager didn’t want or some bum of the month from their favourite agent , Barry Silkman .Birmingham fans had an indication of what was to come soon after they arrived .They leaked it that they “were closing in on Maradona “!Of course it never happened .The excuse being Mrs Maradona thought that Birmingham was too grey .
Phantom ‘bids’ have always been their game !They would either agree personal terms with a player, and not the fee with the Club or vice versa .They would leak all sorts of crap why the deal never happened :Greedy agents ,Selling Club couldn’t get a replacement ,the player suddenly demanded 300000 per week !Christ on a bike you have heard the same tired bullshit a MILLION TIMES OVER !
As the years went by even the Happy Clappers sussed they were pathologically liars, who no one should believe if they said hello .They would still get a few journalist to promote their propaganda .Then would turn to the ‘In the knows ‘.Who would duly promote the crap for a few quid .Treachery with a smile on its face .I would say @Exemployee was the exception .
I used to write for him on The West Ham Way .Believe you me he knew all about the botty feelers .It sickens one that teams in League One have training grounds better than us .The last time the Cons put any money into the Club was 2014 -charging us interest of course !

Fast forward to now .Look I have my reservations regards Postman Pat .But we have no choice but to back him .If he had not injected the 90m we may have gone into administration.I think the real reason the Gobby one left was he would of been liable for the 90m .
Our debt now is about 360 m .104 m on the books and around 250m in transfer instalments to other Club’s .Payday loan after Payday loan charging extortionate interest was how they funded transfers .Sell players ,Doris the Tealady .Anyone gets sold .Pay back the loan then take another out and start all over again !
No chance the manager gets the signings in early .The loan gets paid at the end of July .Only then can the manager bring in ONE signing .The rest are brought in by the SSS :Sullivan ,Salthouse and Silkman .
