Hammers 'stealth attack' for one of the coveted Champions League spots has had some unforeseen consequences, for example it is extremely unusual at this time of the season for any of the West Ham fan sites, or media outlets, to be discussing upcoming fixtures with anything other than the fear of relegation as the main topic of discussion, but here is the list of the Irons remaining fixtures, the 'dirty dozen*' despite there being thirteen games remaining. * Film buffs will probably know that the book the dirty dozen was based on, was called the Filthy Thirteen, but Dirty Dozen sounds better.

Saturday 27th February Premier League Manchester City 12:30 West Ham United

Monday 8th March Premier League West Ham United 20:00 Leeds United
Saturday 13th March Premier League Manchester United 15:00 West Ham United

Saturday 3rd April Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers 15:00 West Ham United
Saturday 10th April Premier League West Ham United 15:00 Leicester City
Saturday 17th April Premier League Newcastle United 15:00 West Ham United
Saturday 24th April Premier League West Ham United 15:00 Chelsea

Saturday 1st May Premier League Burnley 15:00 West Ham United
Saturday 8th May Premier League West Ham United 15:00 Everton
Tuesday 11th May Premier League Brighton & Hove Albion 19:45 West Ham United
Saturday 15th May Premier League West Bromwich Albion 15:00 West Ham United
Sunday 23rd May Premier League West Ham United 16:00 Southampton

Another consequence is the conspicuousness of the silence emerging from the Hammers hierarchy, finally they may have something to 'crow' about, but instead Nada, not a peep, apart from when David Gold managed to break free from his handlers and tweet an I told you so message. That aside, the silence of Sullivan has been shattering! Is it perhaps that the majority share holder feels somehow unable to take the credit for David Moyes's achievements since his return to the club because it was he who 'let go' of Moyes in preference to the 'exotic' lure of Manuel Pellegrini?

The fact that Sullivan et tout bankrolled the erstwhile Chilean to such an extent is the reason why Moyes's achievements are even more admirable, consequently trying to take too much credit would make Sullivan look immensely hypocritical, something the ageing billionaire doesn't seem to want to be associated with.

We get the impression that Sullivan has FINALLY learned his lesson, keep schtum and watch the rest of the footballing fraternity eat humble pie, just like many West Ham fans are having to do, 'Umble pie never tasted so good! - Ed

Sully has been noticeably quiet during our revival under Doctor Moyes, as we were almost done on the operating table. Moyes is the man who saved Sully and Co from a possible toxic meltdown of our club and I would like to think that most now realise that Pellegrini was Sully's sexy choice when the supporters started to get restless.
But I'm wondering if Sully is scared to put the foot in his mouth again because the shoestring budget success that we are having, will almost certainly have to be followed by spending, as that is the time to invest, push on, and consolidate.
In all my years as a supporter (apart from 86'), I've never known such consistency and sustained form, I am constantly being surprised by this team.
As an example, Cresswell was finished in most of our eye's as a left-back, now he is one of the best in the country and I'm scratching my head as to why I didn't realise he was as good a player as he is, with a wand of a left foot!

It was all in the mind, we at the Org are not blind, Cress's performances had dropped off, but one of the reasons was for too long after the 'Payet' year the team was not playing expansive football, just expensive!

Can I make a suggestion?

Would be great to run a competition... guess the final points tally. Winner gets no prize but losers pay say £5 to a typical West Ham charity of choice, personally i give to the Bobby Moore Bowel Cancer fund but you could say Isla or any other good cause.

What do you think?

I'm going with a rather optimistic 73 points!!!

First thanks for the Birthday wish Nev and as I am ever the optimist if we play to our potential I firmly believe we will average 2 pts a game and I reckon we have 9 wins out of that lot.
