Don't Be A Kilman Killjoy!

West Ham are closing in on the double signing of Wolves skipper Max Kilman and Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo. The club have been locked in talks with Wolves for nearly three weeks and the signing of Kilman is seen as yet another sign of David Sullivan's endorsement of the 'Stig & Loopy' show that he put together.

Majority share holder David Sullivan is willing to pull out all of the stops in order to reunite Kilman with Lopetegui, a move seemed firmly aimed at gratifying please his new head coach.

West Ham were hoping their initial 'low ball' bids would be accepted, but were forced to return with a better 'final offer' for Kilman that WAS accepted by Wolves beleived to be in the region of £43 Million with £8 Million of that in add ons.
This transfer has been a long time in the making and one that has obviously been researched in great depth, after all, £43 or £38 Million is a lot of money Davey (in joke from Hugh Grant's prime minister portrayal from Love Actually)

Lopetegui made it clear he wanted Kiilman and 'Schnell Steidten' went out and got him, have Hammers paid too much? Not really, the 27 year old Captain may have come from Maidenhead originally but so what? Kilman is a leader on and off the pitch who could take over the captain's arm band with aplomb and unless the 'Hammers Injury Curse' descends on him has a good injury record.

Kilman is another home grown player and will be a welcome addition to the squad with the added advantage that he will be available for pre-season!- Ed

Kilman will be a great addition especially being a solid defender and leader and made captain. He will bolster our defence no end and organise the defence better can't be no worse than Zouma as captain who was non existent and no leadership. As for Todibo can't see that happening won't be spending anymore like Kilman money it will be all bargain buys from now on going by our transfer budget if that can be believed.

To show to Jlo that we will back him in the market and for we the fans who could see a disaster ahead with Zouma who could barely walk let alone run and for a Captain who really wasn't.

£40+mllion is a lot of money but Kilman has no say in that and i wait to see with great interest how this man reacts to his new surroundings and no doubt the media coverage to come.....hopefully this is the start of something exciting.

Very happy about this one. From the onset of El Loppo coming to being confirmed in post. I always thought this would be his number 1 target. Probably had assurance from ze German. Great player, natural leader. Will bring a bit of dignity and reassurance to the club!!

As I've said many times before. My Nan could have done a better job than cart horse Zouma. She's been dead for 50 years!!!!!!!

Hard to remember cos if previous players had signed 7yr deals they would have gone straight onto the pension afterwards!

Lets hope he is a success with that amount of years,i cant remember a player in these times given that kind of contract,a manager yes hoping to build a club, not a player.

He seems a very unassuming young man softly spoken but a fine physical specimen and hopefully his demeanour changes when he crosses the white line to do battle for us.

So welcome Maximilian and do yourself and the club proud
