West Ham have recently acquired an interest in a Portuguese midfielder called Gustavo Sá.
The midfielder, who currently plays for FC Famalicão is said to be Mateus Fernandes’ replacement, whom we sold for an £85m fee a week ago. It has been alluded to that a deal has been spoken about around the £20m mark, but nothing is set in stone and the truth is, Koppen’s targets need to be discussed first, which makes sense given his role in the club.
One of the significant talking points to the deal that is Sã is indeed a Jorge Mendes client - someone who’s known to do business with Nuno on a regular basis.
However, whilst Portuguese outlets are claiming that it is a “done deal” the fact of the matter is that a lot more needs to be concluded, and yet again, the gun hasn’t just been jumped, it’s leapt.
Interesting to hear that the young Portuguese midfielder has already signed a 5-year deal, I’d love to be a fly on the wall!
However, it would be interesting to see if the Hammers operate a clear-out service before taking on board new signings, or perhaps the other way around - at this moment in time, it appears to be sign and then sell, but if offers come in, they will be accepted.

With Nuno bringing in his trusty number 2 (no pun intended). I wonder if will will see the rebuild in the style he has favoured before. Wolves under him were Portugal FC in disguise..
Doesn't feel like a clear out
This lad is 21, in the under 21's for Portugal and I think the "On field Skipper" for his club side, feels like a straight replacement for Fernandes.
Jimmy is an obvious departure, some issues on his contract, cap of £40M which is just another Sullivan / Brady piece of shocking business.
Legs boys we need legs
I know what you are all thinking here she goes again Another Mav love in lol Actually i am being serious here,We have a season of 46 games and maybe one or two cup games and with matches coming thick and fast we are going to need legs all over the pitch in all conditions and so in the engine room we have a number of promising youngsters who will be called upon and expected to produce in what is going to be a tough tough campaign ahead. Summerville will need to be replaced and McNeil for me is a no and with Sa and now being reported the James McAtee Link is not just that and we are serious in getting him in two more young CM i have a feeling we may lose Magassa because of that, and so up front a Pacey frontman to compliment Taty and Pablo who scores! is a must will they take a risk on Marshall or look for more experienced finishers? well the new season albeit a cup game just a month away things will need to start happening in quick fashion.
Now regarding those legs of Mav i oooops sorry i'll stop there:-)

I think our shopping list looks different, attracting players to the Chumps league is not easy but good young players can see the opportunities particularly playing at the BoM infront of big crowds and season ticket holders 45K and increasing!
