Good news for West Ham fans desperate to see their team live on TV as opposed to by radio or by dodgy internet streams, BT sport will feature the 1st leg tie against NK Domzale on thursday on BT sport channel 2 with the broadcast beginning at 19:40 and the match kicking off at 19:45.
BT, along with Skysports have been bereft in providing suitable entertainment in the 'off' season to their customers, and it was an obvious choice to screen West Ham United's 'meaningful ' match as opposed to a boring friendly or tractor racing or some form of equivalent. The late announcement relates to the various fees that broadcasters and their respective advertisers have to pay, it is a bit like a game of poker with the last man standing winning, in fact negotiations are actually ongoing for certain vacant advertising slots as matches are stlll in play! The next ten days will see if West Ham are able to progress to the business end of the Europa Cup, managing both fixtures including an inaugural game at the Olympic Stadium, quickly followed by the High profile friendly against Juventus which should have been the inaugural game will take some managing, especially given the need to find an instant replacement for the sidelined Aarron Cresswell.
