Injury Farce Ahead Of Crucial Wolves Fixture

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Tue, 07/04/2026 - 11:33

West Ham United were forced to endure 120 minutes worth of Football as well as a devastating penalty shootout, which, of course, resulted in Leeds United winning. Despite the disappointing scoreline, other worries were lingering around with the rumour that Areola, Adama and Disasi had all suffered injuries in the match, meaning they could be out for the future.

In classic social media fashion, the twaddle lingered around before reaching a boiling point where many Hammers fans began to be enraged and further worried for the fixture against Wolves on Friday night, which could potentially decide whether the Hammers stay in the Premier League or not.

It can be confirmed that the majority of the squad is expected to be available on Friday night - Hammers fans should expect to see the return of Todibo, Dissasi, Mavropanos and Summerville, which would be an immense boost for Nuno’s side.

Despite reports, Disasi has NOT pulled his hamstring and will be available for the match. It’s thought that he was simply suffering after running since the first whistle was blown.

Adama Traore also should be available against his former side despite being hailed to have suffered an injury.

More news is to come throughout the week, but at this moment in time, it is highly thought that West Ham will have most, if not all, players available to them come Friday night.

Well all I can say is the masterplan had better work. A fully fit squad should be able to see off Wolves. But if we don't, then all hell will follow from the fanbase!!

They play with freedom and have nothing to lose.

I suspect cowardly Luno will put out a defence side.

Wolves are without pressure and are dangerous. I personally think Nuno will go 4-4-2 if all are fit. But then, I still have memories of Moyes's first stint here playing defensively against lower teams and losing them but we did claw our way out of relegation despite Moyes, not because of him.

We have got to win this game,no ifs or buts about it,lose this and we deserve to go,and it puts spurs in the bottom three....What an incentive.
