Should have started Benny on the left instead of Fornals. He'd ruin Trent. Good to see Downes get a start. Where is Paqueta? 1-2 to the Hammers

Benny's shot make me shudder, practically passed it to Allisson. He really doesn't always look comfortable with the ball which is scary if you're a footballer!

I know others have mentioned this but what is the point of that?happy Downes and Scamacca starting so it will be Rice in the middle Soucek and Downes the shield for the back four

But poor shot from Bowen, maybe something to do with van dyke the Clint scuffing the penalty spot...I despair at the tricks they are allowed to get away with

Scam was actually very disappointing tonight,but if we had of played with the same intensity first half we would have got something out of the game

must not start the next game because they do nothing in the first half and then start to play in second half so why not give them a rest!

a good team performance especially the 2nd half lost it just because we did not take our chances it seems our mid field players are scared to take a shot at goal , that's why i like Benrahma, he try's to beat his man and shoot defenders hate that. Scamacca needs to work on his positioning and work at running at the space between the 2 centre backs,

Decent performance v a top side. Pity bout penalty or we'd be talking up a good point. No one really shone, rice maybe but to be expected at somewhere like anfield. Benhrama really lacks quality at this level though imo. His end product is non existent.

I agree the more we get these higher quality players in it shows the frailties in Benrahma, Fornals and Soucek. They’re just not at the level we’re trying to get to. Johnson for me was woeful last night. He tends to switch off in games which you can’t do at this level. For me once Aguerd is back we would have Zouma and him in the middle, Kehrer RB, Emerson LB, Rice and Downes holding and Paqueta , Bowen And Antonio behind Scamacca. Cornet to come back in at some point.

Gives the ball away a lot. Hate to say it as he’s been a stalwart for so long but what with the two red cards in Europe last year I think his time is nearing

Shoulder I believe, done it against Saints,could have done with him last night! Thinking about it today we did pretty well last night,certainly the better side in the 2nd half,that's not bad against a team that beat citeh last game & thrashed rangers 7-1 away the game before! So all in all plenty of positives & I feel moyes is getting near to the team we've been telling him to pick! ;)

I think Scamacca was looking for Paqueta’s passing. It was all down to Declan and as good as he is driving forward he’s more of a side to side passer.
