What is the point eh....get ready for all Moyes media pals ala Jim White to be saying West Ham fans there you go what more does Moyes need to do to prove he is a good manager!

Some nice passing movement ,but only when Derby got tired , saw a tiny bit of improvement in the chec ,bout 3% ,still should get a long run in the 2nds ,the ting that pisses me off most about Moyes is that he doesn't seem to realise what an absolute diamond he has in Benny.

Aguerd is quality,Emerson looking good on the left,Downes is Rice's replacement imo, souscek had his best game for ages.We have good players but the test will be the geordies

Watched on tv. Impressed by Downes and prefer Emerson to Cresswell. Aguerd is a class player.
It got me thinking Bobby Moore died 30 years ago February and surely time for No 6 shirt to come back. Aguerd could do the shirt justice.

The no 6 shirt should stay where it is out of respect for the legend,he wasn't treated that well by westham after he retired but better late than never!

No 6 stays retired. however, if offering it to Declan as an incentive to stay... then I would go along with that!

But he's off regardless imo,he has no connection to westham so offering him the no 6 shirt certainly wouldn't sway his opinion, they didn't offer it to Nobes so no way they'll offer it to Rice

How many fans are left that saw him live. I can just remember watching him at Upton Park when Kevin Lock was supposed to be his replacement.

My first game I went to was the 8-0 thrashing of Sunderland in 1968 where he scored one. Went to the following home game where he scored again in a 4-3 win against QPR. Great days. Also saw him twice at Wembley in an England shirt but can't remember who the oppos were

Was the Sunderland center back. I met him back in 1981, he was a sales mgr for a packaging company, lovely guy, talked about that game, said Geoff Hurst was unplayable that day. He was proud to mark him in the first half when he only scored 2 goals!
