I was hoping to see the new centre forward given a start, otherwise a decent enough line up. Lots of good youngsters on the bench, that’s a good sign.

He starting to annoy me now ,what's the point of brining in new blood if your not goin to include them ,goin for the draw or a 2 goal loss which would be regarded as " not to bad"

Scamacca & Downes will come on at some stage, show what they can do & with Cornet they'll all start next week!! Can't see us getting much today with that starting line up

As towards the end of last season, just hoof it up to Antonio who always has 2/3 players on top of him....note to Moyes it just doesn't work

And now we can see why Fabs was #1. Areola sucked in by school park football dummy. No way was Haaland ever gonna get that ball

That’s the poorest performance from a West Ham team since Sam’s days. We can’t string three passes together. Look at Fulham yesterday they showed Liverpool no respect and got a result. We look like if we can keep the score below five we wil take that as a win. We are better than this now show it.

not much point if we can’t hang onto the ball but we need a bit more, We need a bit of speed, I would bring on Ashby, might as well give him a go as at least he has a bit of go about him.

For me lanzini & sousek just don't do anything anymore,Ants has been sussed out a long time ago.flynn,Scamacca & Cornet next week instead of those 3

We should expect no better from one of the most defensive managers in football.as i said at the beginning 1 or 2 nil will be a feather in his cap .

Comes on we start to attack, then 1 pass opens up our defence, pathetic

most people predicted 0-2 before the game so not to bad I suppose, definitely need Cornet in and a couple more signings next week and Scamacca needs to start. Can’t understand why Bowen was seemingly slow today.

City didn't even get out of first gear,if this is the starting line up every week we will be battling bottom 6 never mind the top 6!! Boring, predictable unfortunately reminiscent of this stadium....62 & half thousand in the crowd?? Christ is this place the new library!! Shocking all round

Yes mate… the new library but if had 162 thousand watching this tripe it would be just the same. Don’t blame the fans or the stadium, it’s The Moyessiah and those clowns in charge yet to bring in sufficient staff to compete at this level

Get the hump anymore! But it's in my blood,a European semifinal then first game of the season with a 62 & half thousand crowd....I'm talking a Westham crowd here with zero passion, atmosphere etc, well done the dildos for living the dream sorry guys rant over

No issue with getting the hump with West Ham, we are at our best when moaning but I was there and the atmosphere and first five mins was brilliant, fans really made a difference. That soon evaporated when City just went up a gear and made Bowen, Lanz, Fornals and Soucek look at best pedestrian or headless.

That's not the Westham Way! Cheer for 5 mins then it goes quiet for the rest of the game! Just like the semi final....my god I've just seen on social media is that right they've installed a bleeding great wall between the home & away fans?? It gets worse

The atmosphere was good us fans gave plenty, just a piss poor performance,it was just like watching last season over again.......The lip up fatties in the Carpenters were in full song, like we had won the game.

Only decent thing about the LS,though not surprising it's on the estate where gentrification doesn't exist! The locals won't have it & good for them I say

im in block 227 mate so didnt see the wall. If I had my way I would have virtually no away fans or restrict to a few up in the gods like Manc U and the Bar codes treat the away fans. I think we will always differ on the BoM, I still have memories of some shocking library moments at UP, the common denominator being when the team was dishing up tripe!

I never saw it go quiet after 5 mins when it was still nil nil! I've been to UP when we were relegated the week before & getting stuffed 3 nil & up pops the conga!! You will never ever have that gallows humour at this place, the dildos have ripped the soul out of this club & that's why thousands of the old school don't go anymore!

I feel your pain 65 but I am old school, as is my brother and mates that go to the games and still have great banter. I think its generational, the younger crew are just different, brought up on all things immediate, beautiful things airbrushed in the media, no sense of belonging with zero local ascents and success is the only driver in life so win at all cost with no time for association with losing. They prefer to support a shiny stadium with a winning team. I have mates at Spudz and Arse... they say its the same there, its just football in the new age :o(

I agree the West Ham were very poor today. Need the Centre Backs back ASAP. Johnson did as well as he could but was responsible for playing Haaland onside for that second goal that killed any hope of a point against the run of play. Soucek is only good at defending aerial balls in the boxes. Apart from that he was constantly just giving the ball away. Definitely need a quality midfielder to press up. Hopefully, Moyes reverts to plan B against Nottingham Forest otherwise, Lingard will boast as to why he chose a second tier team over West Ham!!

By the team but I look at the positives, we can’t play the top team in the Premier League with some of the players we have as they might be good worker but we still need four or five more quality players. None of them really shinned even Bowen wasn’t very good but it showed what Moyes said the other day, we need more.

It would appear the age of damage limitation has arrived ,at least at the Queen Elizabeth stadium it has, compare that performance with that of Fulhams yesterday ,they showed no fear of the scouser's in fact they were unlucky not to win where as the relief on Moyes's face afterwards was evident .
