It has been a long time coming, it is nearly SIX years since West Ham moved to the London Stadium in the Queen Elizabeth Park Stratford from the club's beloved Boleyn Ground. It is almost 'criminal' that the Stadium has remained unnamed as a result of infighting between ALL the stake holders, especially the LDDC and the ODLC as well as West Ham.

Well that looks as if it is finally about to change as some Tesla 'electricity' is about to be pumped through the club's tired veins! The details of the deal are still sketchy as yet, but Elon Musk the CEO and owner of Tesla cars has long hankered over sponsoring a 'global' sporting venue and it seems as if the Hammers rented home is his preferred destination for Tesla!

Quite how much the deal involves is also being kept under wraps, however what IS known is that Hammers 2nd largest shareholder Daniel Kretinsky has known Musk for some considerable time and is known to have a good relationship with the car group owner.

This is just the sort of news that fans have been hoping for and is a classic example of how Kretinsky's business nous and worldwide contacts can facilitate advantageous deals for the club. - Ed
