Moyes 'Love Child' Coming Home?

Jesse Lingard, he who David Moyes pursued like a 'hapless teenager in love' is in training with West Ham and right in the Irons manager's cross hairs! Free agent Lingard who repeatedly rebuffed Moyes increasingly desperate attempts to sign him is now a free agent having left Forest at the end of a very unsuccessful year!

Forest, who Lingard said "showed me some love" hardly used the attacking midfielder during his brief tenure and the player saw his form and rankings drop from the cliff. On loan at West Ham from Manchester United, Lingard's fine showing saw him 'gate crash' his way back into Gareth Southgate's England squad and Hammers offer him an attractive contract which was believed to be acceptable by his owners.

Lingard however chose to stay and fight for his place which didn't go well did it? Instead of being utilised and capitalising on his 'epic' run of form he had displayed while on loan, the poorly advised player found himself as a bench warmer, yet again!

When Lingard's contract at United was allowed to run down it seemed it was a 'give' for Moyes to sign him, instead the player chose to go on a 'world tour' to promote himself to potential suitors, again very ill-advised and generally snubbed Moyes's approaches, eventually becoming one of Forest's raft of signings as they took their place in the Premier League.

At the time Lingard said it wasn't about the money, there were unsubstantiated rumours that he had been offered £200,000 per week by Forest, he said it was about how much Forest 'cared' about signing him! Apparently all it took was a private jet out to a Greek Island, a few chauffeured Limo's and some very expensive Kebabs.

Unfortunately, the synchronicity of Lingard training with the Irons and Lucas Paqueta being 'kidnapped' by Pep's Man City means that there is a genuine chance Lingard might be offered a short term contract, heaven help us, or zero to Hero? - Ed

but on other hand if he is free and training hard and city take Lucas Paqueta then give him a try after all he was good for us and got himself picked for England so why not give him a go nothing to lose and every thing to gain ....and the fans will soon let him know if he doesn't give 100%

One thing we musnt do here is cut off our nose to spite our face, pride and loyalty dosent come into football anymore, whoever is performing and scoring goals at the time,is all that is required.
