Hi Everyone, just thought I would post a discussion about the new Points and Badges system we have rolled out on site "www.westhamfans.org/pointsandbadges". I just wanted to know your thoughts on it? and to find out if you guys have any suggestions for new goals to add. Thanks

I am still trying to get used to this new layout of the org before I even go to the points and badges thing which I did not even know existed.
But I will check it out if it is simple enough to find.

What about ridiculous posts that offer nothing? Have seen plenty of these in the past. How do they get policed? How about posting duplicate copies of the topic.?

Unless you have heavy-handed moderating it's difficult to prevent nonsense posts completely. Far be it from me to speak for Nev, but I think he'd prefer if we self-moderated. A forum is like a mini-society, it's up to all of us to create an atmosphere where good behaviour is the norm, and bad behaviour only a rare thing.

Could there be a "like" option for a post. Not a thread but an actual comment. Basically the same as FB?
Could there be the option to see who has commented on the same post you have when you log onto your own account? The org used to be able to do this, so that you could answer someone if they had commented or posted a question on an old thread.
Finally....what are the logistics of a live chat room? Cost involved probably. But I've seen these work well during games. Logging on here as normal and then having s live chat option during the match. Essentially a "virtual pub"
Anyway, regardless of your answers, splendid work chief, we all owe you a pint or 2.

I don't like change so I apologise, lol.
Is it possible to have replies directly below the post you're replying to instead of being bottom of the list, and new posts at the top of the thread instead of at the bottom, maybe I just need time to get used to it!
