While Manchester United are busy trying to flex their transfer muscles by attempting to send out a "we aren't going to be stiffed on transfer" message, Hammers are forging ahead in their player recruitment and have let the Mancs stew in their own juice over the will he or won't he? Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham deal.

Wan-Bissaka hasn't helped himself any by insisting on a pay off from the Red Devils, but he is entitled to 'fight' for what he believes he deserves and probably resents (a) United trying to play silly buggers with their valuation of the player and (b) using him as a 'template' for new authoritarian Jim Ratcliffe 'hard man' tactics in negotiations to offset years of over paying for players.

The Irons newly rekindled interest in Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo will no doubt have been triggered by news that high earner Kurt Zouma is all but guaranteed to be moving to pastures new. Although the club will receive little or indeed nothing in transfer fees for their captain who is in the final year of his contract, the removal of his vast wages will give Hammers a bit of 'wiggle room' when it comes to FFP and PS regulations.

If Jean-Clair Todibo does arrive at Stratford and he is apparently flying in for a medical today, then Julen Lopetegui will need only to acquire a right back to complete his signings splurge. Of course Juventus might put a spanner in the works by upping their offer for the Frenchman but it seems that the central defender has had enough of being messed around by the Italian club and would prefer to deal with the no-nonsense Irons and Tim Steidten. - Oh Happy Days!- Ed

That is the question regarding a right back we are constantly having trouble dealing with man utd players look at last season they just drag on and ends up nothing happening.Stuff them and move on and i hope there plans get stuffed up as well they deserve it happening to them.I personally don't think Wan Bissaka really wants to come to us so why bother with him unless it's a ploy.

And hopefully it is true...not worried about Juventus as they could not match our original bid so how they think they will match our cash up front with sell on clause is fantasy as far as i see it.

Nice got pissed off with Juventus doing a Sullivan and lowballing offers and had enough the player i have no concerns for him wanting to go to Juventus we've all had our heads turned by a pretty lady or that car etc but the fact we kept in contact and showed our interest is real well it is good to be wanted and i expect he has come round to thinking why not they are a MASSIVE club have won in Europe and wages going to be better than France or Italy....just don't let him see the training ground!.

This will be a coup for us and now all we need is a right back and job done for Tim....looking a lot better than it did a week ago.

Will be a great addition hopefully. I still think we need 2 players. A right back & as I said before. A keeper. Areola is number 1 but does pick up a few injuries. Age has caught up with Fabianski though I prefer him over the freebie from Sheff Utd.
It's been a remarkable spending spree so I hope nobody has messed up the financials

Would not surprise me if this transfer is the last 1in this window and in a way i'm sorry Ben Johnson has left because if we have kept him we could have soldiered through. I hope we dont get wanna Biscuit becuse it will really mess up Manure they wont be able to buy Nousir Mazaroni and there going to be stuck with a right back they didnt want namely Wan-Bissaka and it will revenge for the way they messed us about with McTominay and Harry Maguire not to mention the Jesse Linguard Saga so I would walk away from the right back just to see the adrenaline run out of Eric ten Hags socks, think they have really Fu*£ed up this window it could even cost them Europe next season. And what with Villa, still got their very naughty boy Duran about to upset the Apple cart I think Tim Steiden has played an absolute Blinder

Manure had a deal for Todibo drawn up i's dotted t's crossed and as it was Ratcliffes club Nice no problem for the deal going through until UEFA stepped in and blocked the deal as both clubs are in the Europa league they cannot transfer players between clubs! and so he went on the market and in we stepped blowing Juventus out of the water and hopefully a swift kick in the plums to Ratcliffe and co for messing us about over previous transfers....let them keep AWB and i don't blame the player there for wanting what he was owed....COYI

Apparently Torpedo has not yet signed and Juventus have been trying to get in touch with his agent all day I think this is why we made an improved offer ant see them Turing his head otherwise he would not be at the LS
