When Dimitri Payet 'landed' in East London it is fair to say he shook up not only West Ham, but also the entire Premier League. While it lasted the Payet era was a wonder to behold, somehow players like Marky Noble suddenly started playing like Iniesta! Of course it was all destined to end in tears but it was a hell of a ride and DID sow the seeds for the future.
Hailing from the same tiny Pacific Island as Payet, Reunion Strasbourg striker Ludovic Ajorque has cropped up as being on Hammers transfer radar. Ajorque has scored 26 goals and provided 10 assists for Strasbourg over the last 18 months. The 27 year old Ludovic Ajorque is contracted to Strasbourg until June 2024 so the Alsatian club hold ALL the Aces, except Strasbourg are BROKE and need the money.
Ajorque's goal scoring record isn't that impressive when considering his goals have been scored in less competitive circumstances than those he would encounter in the Premier League, but it should be remembered that Hammers either have to 'go large' and get a player in like PATRIK SCHICK at massive expense or 'box clever' by bringing in an 'inexpensive' player as an interim.
As such Ludovic Ajorque at around €14 Million might be considered a decent option. - LN

Ludovic Kennedy would be more dangerous!
Lets not go to the French league for another striker please...its a poor league regardless of how cheap the player is it is just not worth it...move on please nothing to see here hopefully!
