Wan Wants Out

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Thu, 16/07/2026 - 11:44

Amongst all the inevitable departures, seemingly the next departure on the list is Wan-Bissaka, who has made it known to the West Ham hierarchy that he doesn’t want to be in the Championship and would like to move away ahead of the upcoming campaign.

West Ham have set a price tag of £25m on the Congolese international - yes, you are reading that correctly, but that is what happens when a club won’t give in and actually sticks to their guns, nice for a change!

Two clubs have made their interest known to West Ham at the moment, those two being Arsenal and Everton. David Moyes attempted to sign the former Manchester United man previously but failed; however, whilst he now may have the opportunity, he is said not to be too keen on him and is currently opting for other targets.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are interested in Wan-Bissaka and believe he could be a good backup to Ben White. Despite winning the league, a right back was a position Arsenal needed to strengthen the team, so it’s a true possibility, but at the moment it’s been nothing more than loose talk with nothing concrete on the table.

Whether it’s a move to Arsenal, Everton or neither, Spider-Wan wants to web his way out of West Ham.

Fortunately, Nuno appeared not to be the most keen on Aaron Wan-Bissaka towards the back end of the season, opting for Walker-Peters instead, who has also indicated to the hierarchy he would be happy to stay at West Ham in the Championship next season.

Presuming Wan-Bissaka would be sold, West Ham United would look to sign another right-back.

Yes he was brilliant in his first season. But last season, not so much. KWP proved his worth and will be the number 1 RB. If we get 20-25 million, it's good business. He's not really a fans favourite, so let him go without a fuss.

Let him rot if our valuation is not met and KWP has shown that AWB will not be missed as for replacing him i am sure Chelski have probably got 30/40 right backs that could do a job for us lol
