Fans enduring the wet and miserable journey back from today's disappointing draw against Palace that felt so much like a defeat were heard consoling themselves with the idea that next season the 'Moyes Ball' that they had just witnessed will be a thing of the past, or will it?
Statistically David Moyes IS West Ham United's most successful manager of all time, but matches like the drab draw against Palace make watching paint dry a far superior way of spending time and far less expensive!
The journey home got even worse as news of the scouse gits 'wonderful fight back' against Fulham was eventually compounded by Hammers next opponents Tottinham's 'wonder' recovery to draw 3-3 with City!
The only consolation of what was a truly grim day for Hammers fans was the FA Cup draw which saw a home tie against Bristol City being drawn out of the 'hat'. The rarity of a home tie NOT against Liverpool, City or United won't have gone unnoticed for those clutching at straws to cheer themselves up.
The fact that Hammers were in control for much of the game against `palace is what hurts so much....until 'Stan the Man', making his first premier League start for the club should hand the visitors the opportunity to score rankles, but what rankles even more is the LSD inspired idea to play Lucas Paqueta on the wing, why?
Part of 'Pacman's' game is his link up play with Emerson and his distribution across the pitch, from a position where he can see what is going on, pushing him right out on the wing detracted from his game and his performance showed!
This game should have yielded three points, but it didn't, the only positive was that Alavarez DIDN'T get booked! A bad day at the frozen office which will probably be matched by an equally awful display against arch rivals Tottingham who are currently leaps and bounds above the Irons in ALL ways, on and off the pitch!
Be positive some might say, we would suggest those people weren't forced to endure today's serving of misery in person! - Ed

Have to agree with you on the
Have to agree with you on the scum Nev ,they deserved that point ,very attack minded .
They are leaps and bounds above us .look at the Gordies last night ,they don't know the meaning of the word defence. Getting passed off with it now .
Saw a lot of empty seats on the TV
Fans starting to vote with there feet but i doubt the board notice or care.....the future looks bleak we will not win any silverware this time around or qualify for Europe playing this way but why would you with Thursday Sunday so tiring for our poor overworked players and manager and staff.....come the summer Pacman will be off to whoever triggers his clause and Kudus will be unsettled and be off to and who could blame them.....look out for the early season ticket renewal as that will point to Mogadon being kept on.....so Nev HG Essex all the others who go to the B.O.M to see that rubbish served up i applaud your optimism that this week it will be different but under this man it will not....needed a goal does not play a natural striker just leaves them on the bench and the one sub he made was midfielder for another midfielder just about says it all dont you think
On paper individually West
On paper individually West Ham starting 11 today v Tottenham starting 11 today you would take us. But sorry. I'm scared to death for us on Thursday. Basically, Tottenham reserves went to City and scored 3 goals. The difference is the Managers. The fat Greek can't lose even in defeat with his gun ho all out attacking style.
If they don't give us a right
If they don't give us a right royal spanking the best thing will be their fans despair, marginally beating our own!!
Stayed in bed...
for the first time in decades and missed the game. So glad I made the right decision. Totally over the Moyes/Southgate style of football on offer and the fact he keeps doing the same thing expecting different results makes me think he's lost the plot. Yeah he may be a great manager to play for, according to ex players, but to be a spectator week in, week out has become mind numbingly boring.
Did the same Aus... stayed in bed
glad I didnt what that tripe live :o(
I am truly flabbergasted
That fans at these games put up with it. When I sit back and think about the days when Big Sam was our manager, under much more difficult conditions and a much much worse squad of players at his disposal, and remember the abuse the fans hurled at him, I cannot comprehend how Moyes is getting away with it now. Sams style was, in no way as turgid as it is today and at least he played with a striker.
So if we hark back to the chants of "we play on the floor" how come we aren't giving a "we play football to score" isn't heard on the terraces. And how come the average casual fan is still actually going to games? Is life at home really that bad?
They are both Dinosaurs DH
Fat Sam deserved all the abuse, the difference is that Moyesball can be affective.
Allardyce played against Chavski with no striker, packed the midfield and got pelters from Mourinho.
Nev is right, statistically Moyes is by far the best manager we have ever had in win rate bar temp period of Sir Trev.... but Moyes can claim silverware also.
Yes having gone through the
Yes having gone through the stage of which West Ham would turn up. Being pleasantly surprised at times. We are now deeply in a boring predictable pattern. Scraping a win in Europe, playing dismally again today, following more and more unacceptable performances.
Moyesball is well and truly now a thing. A thing of beauty it sure ain't.
Buster Koglu and his team of merry meze munchers will wipe the floor with us if we continue to play like that.
What has happened to Jimbo Wuppa? Apart form being played out of position, it looks as though he has lost all confidence in his set piece ability? Free kicks are not happening, corners are shite.
I feel there could be a nasty nip in the air come Thursday night, if you know what I mean Sportsfans..........
I'm frightened the club is
I'm frightened the club is becoming very divided ,other sites on the Internet are full of the Moyes in Mogs out and sometimes it develops into down and out insults .
As for me ? ,I'm deffo in the out section ,but I refuse to get drawn on the petty hatred that has apparently sprung up at our club .
Filled with a sense of dread for west ham ,this man quite clearly has no ambition when it comes to the prem ,just a thirst for Europe, content with mid table .
I'm definitely Moyes out. Can
I'm definitely Moyes out. Can't ever remember it being so hard to watch West Ham. The January window will be interesting. Hopefully we make moves early.
Is one eye on Thursday knowing we can't afford to lose against Frieburg
