West Ham Confirm Amanda Staveley's Purchase of Vanessa Gold's Shares

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Sat, 01/08/2026 - 18:12

West Ham United have confirmed that Amanda Staveley has provisionally purchased Vanessa Gold's 25.1% stake.

The standard procedure will now be followed however, a few difficulties could potentially arise. At the moment, all seems amicable on the surface between Kretinsky & Amanda, but difficulties could arise in the following 60 days. Should everything be smooth sailing, this would be a significant step to remove David Sullivan, as Amanda has her eyes on a full takeover, but a bumpy road could still pop up should Daniel Kretinsky follow through with his initial idea to buy Vanessa Gold's stake.

Time will tell! Here's the following statement from West Ham:

West Ham United can confirm it is aware of the announcement from Joint-Chair Vanessa Gold that she has reached a provisional agreement to sell her shares to a consortium of PCP Capital Partners, led by Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi, in partnership with Ashland Forest Capital Partners.

The proposed transaction will now be subject to a pre-emption rights process. This provides all existing shareholders with the opportunity to acquire their proportional percentage of shares in round one, and any remaining shares in round two. This process will take approximately two months and, until it is completed, nothing will change regarding the ownership structure of the Club.

West Ham United would like to assure supporters that the day-to-day running of the football club is in no way affected by this situation. Preparations for the new season continue to take shape with diligence and focus, and we thank all fans for their continued loyal backing at this time.

The Club will be making no further comment while the pre-emption process runs its course.

This will take a couple of months to iron out, excuse the pun. But that will give us enough time to evaluate our start to the championship. Then if things are a bit milky. Staveley v Kretinsky will turn into Nuno v Howe assuming Howe is lying in wait? So the plot thickens!

Ten men couldn't carry, couldn't carry Lampard.. Klint!!!

According to reports. This is a bad move for the club. If Gold had proceeded to sell the 16% of her shares to the Kretin. He would be the majority shareholder. Now selling her 25% to Stavely. Sullivan remains the majority shareholder and we are back to where we were. Sullivan has also said he will not sell up until we are promoted.

Sullivan will sell but only at prem prices as he has valued the club at around £640/50 million which many scoffed at but with Staveley offering reportedly £160 million for all of Golds shares it works out at exactly the value Sullivan mentioned.....If her deal gets rubber stamped you can bet your life on her and her consortium(sorry TC you are not in this one!)will set their sights on his shares and pretty sure an agreement will be made.
DK has never wanted to be the majority shareholder at the club that much has been clear but with Gold basically fed up waiting around for him to push forward with the agreement they had come to i am guessing his nose has been put out of joint and let us see what if anything he is prepared to do.
Listening the the BMS last night apparently not all is rosy in the Boardroom and already rumours of disagreement on how DK is running things so really nothing changes at our club always been a Cluster in the boardroom.

This can be put to bed by Kretinsky to stop p*ssing about and using his rights to match the bid of Stavely and buy the lot or sell up and let Stavely have the lot. Either way, Sullivans shares will only be a buyers market value and not a sellers market value. Or is that too simple?

Right this is it now,as i said in a previous post, serious shit is going to happen,Staveley is no back bencher, where she goes she dictates, shes too powerful for Sullivan,he will be going end of,Kretinsky will just be a shareholder,if even bought out,and another thing she will take on and get that ground ownership, the shit that we are in is right up her street to sort out,Not sure about the Eddie Howe bit though, but if Nuno fucks about,it could happen, and why not....This will be the biggest transformation this club needs, and has never had, great stuff hey......You heard it here first.

"West Ham United would like to assure supporters that the day-to-day running of the football club is in no way affected by this situation" Thats a shame because it still feels like an amateur outfit with the Eff up on the season tickets, sacking that muppet stadium DJ for the purpose of "cost savings" when he was paid the square root of nothing!

I think Staverley is a speculator, buy low sell high. Introduce some wealthy Arab mates and then p*** off

We are just a means to an end that end is the Land we are just one stepping stone along the way.
Staveley does have a good track record regarding football and she may be left to her own thing whilst those in her Consortium look to take the next step...would we get a new Stadium long term? if the land grab is a successful one i think yes but it will not be their and where would it be is anybodies guess.

We must see the positives in this,we have been sinking for a long time, with nothing changing, everyone wanted the Sullivan situation out,so here it is.

But why now right before the season starts and with the team looking well short.......and when it comes to billionaires who really knows what motivates them? it cannot be the money anymore i think it is the deals that excite them to be honest...DK just miffed he dragged his feet over the agreed deal and may get gazumped because of it and that kind of blow to his ego maybe what will drag this out.

Sullivan has said he will not sell his 38% till we get into the Premier league when the shares will be worth more money BUT his shares are going to be worth Money now if Stavely and her group want to be the main shareholders at the moment she has 25%, DK now has 27% and I think Albert Tripp has 8% and the rest are minimal amounts Terry Brown, Brady so Sullivan cannot be on the board as he is seen as not fit to Run our club because of Sex allegations so his shares are going to be worth a fortune or is there a set amount for each share. As I understand it DK has first dibs followed by Ashland Forest developments so I think the ball is in Kretinsky court. I just hope that in the mean time the porno Dwarf don't by some miracle clear his name and end up the majority share holder to do this he only needs to sell 5% to Stavely and the dwarf is still in the Driving seat but she outbids DK all very confusing meanwhile the club has said this wont affect the every day running of our club, but its got to with the lack of transfers and now we know why, and even Nuno will be looking over his shoulder because it wont surprise me if Howe is our new man waiting in the wings with the Stavely connection. This is the good bit will Albert Tripp side with Kretnsky or Stavely??? because his 8% could sway the balance as Sullivan cant vote

As a betting man I will put a few quid on Howe becoming the next manager. It seems more than obvious to me..

He has a hankering for the manure job and i reckon Carrick will be gone by Christmas if the results go badly.....As for Howe their is something about him that i just do not like..cannot put my finger on what as never met the man but it is probably just being human for some reason or not you just do not like certain people.
