While I agree that the three
While I agree that the three fucks are the cause of our downfall you have to take into consideration the gulf between us and them they are proberble in the top 6 or 7 teams in the world .not making excuses but they make the next 6 below them look ordinary
But the real difference is their structure ,when they decided they were going to be a top English side they meant it unlike our lot who thought move to a big stadium and the rest will follow ,They bought world class managers to the club ,then they bought world class players then they bought in the best manager in the world ,just compare their way of doing things to ours ,it's down to this if we do survive then the 3 amigo s have to sell up and fuck off because one things for sure we definitely won't survive another with them running things in the words of a Phil Coulter song about the troubles in northern Ireland "the town I love so well " what's won is won and what's lost is lost and gone forever .stick with it lads we owe it to the great players who have graced the glorious claret & blue shirt
Hear! Hear! Burkie.
well said, mate.
too scared to win
Moyes wtf was that...as fans we already new this was going to be hard and prob get beat so nothing to lose so why not send a team out to try and win?i watched the opening five minutes that was enough for me the lack of ambition to try and win a game makes me shake my head in disbelief and when I saw the result later I was not surprised....this mans the future? don't make me laugh....he is pinning hopes on pinching points from Leicester and everton he wont even try in the manure game......and the Leicester game well after there thumping at palace they will be determined not to let that happen again and put record straight.....so its all going to come down to the everton game ohh how bfs is looking forward to that.
Regardless of all the issues
Regardless of all the issues surrounding the unholy trinity and Moyes, the players today must feel some shame at their lack of passion and commitment yesterday. Yes, they were playing the prem champions but were beaten by a team playing at walking pace, it looked like an over 60's walking football game. I think we have now at our lowest, this for me was the worst display I have seen this season. It had nothing to do with the London Stadium, in fact when we pressed a little in the first half the atmosphere was great, no, its all down to individuals who chose not to care as much as fans on the day. City could have got more, we could have been really embarrassed. I think we need 3 points but no idea were they will come from. High tempo Leicester will give nothing, possession style MU wont give up the ball easily and its all down to Allardyce to nail the coffin. Hope I prove to be wrong.
I think that's definitely one factor.
Lot's of different excuses mounting up. The big picture doesn't look good. Just take a look at how Crystal Palace have been playing for weeks now -- yet they don't have a side that's a whole lot better than ours. Look at the passion that Stoke put into their play at Liverpool and at West Ham. They very nearly beat us, and they very nearly beat Liverpool (just after the Pieters handball, while Poo were still in shock, they came very close to scoring at the other end). Look at Southampton's determination to fight and get a second against Bournemouth (and look at Soton's all out final defensive stand). Even WBA, FFS, stuck it to Manure on their patch. Yet we roll over and die against Arsenal, and then really don't give a rat's arse against City. Tell me if I'm wrong, but at the moment it looks like WBA to go down and the rest is between Huddersfield Swansea an West Ham. I don't like the looks of THAT!
I think you make a good point
I think you make a good point and the short contract was a sloppy and cheap idea. Sack him if we fail and if he shows success getting again on the cheap was the strategy of the porn twins. The players have lost all respect and show absolutely no desire to play for him or us THE FANS! Im feed up with going week in week out and seeing zero work rate. Shearer sums it up well... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43945154
Shocking isn't it?
As a fan, I could only listen to what that whole panel said and shake my head in shame. I don't like Alan Shearer as a commentator, but I couldn't say he was wrong. And he rattled off the list of heavy defeats 4-1, 4-1, 4-1 ... like a refrain in some ghastly funeral service. We could get done at Leicester, too -- it ain't gonna be no walk in the park!!!! Wasn't too long ago that Crystal Palace seemed a dead certainty for the drop. How fortunes change when you have desire, belief, graft.
Agree the performance was shocking
All the other teams are showing fight.all we do is congratulate citeh on their wonderfull title win...i wonder what Billy Bonds thought watching that!!If he even bothers to anymore.
My God Bonds must shaking his
My God Bonds must shaking his at the lack of commitment 65, shame on them all yesterday! Other teams with a much lesser squad gave City a match particularly Wigan!
The problem is Dartford
The atmosphere is good for 5 mins, then for 85 mins (or if theres any one left by the end)it's the toxic groan from 20 odd thousand plastics in the stadium.that my friend is what makes the place so unappealing!!
True but
The team makes the atmosphere, high work rate and make chances lifts people off the seats and gets them behind the team. For the record I never leave early but understand why it happens. Where I sit in Trevor Brooking upper we have no plastics, they are all solid Hammers from a very wide range of backgrounds.
That's fair enough
There are still a lot of proper westham fans that go.though I've been in the Trev upper & lower a few times & i must have gone to the wrong games then!!for me win, lose or draw there was a time when there was more a togetherness,I don't get that feeling anymore...my own experience that's all
I think the problem 65 is
I think the problem 65 is that quite a lot of season tickets get resold and hence see new faces regularly but in the main they are all West Ham just from different backgrounds.
