Dejecting.
Very Dejecting.
It's like he's giving up
It's like he's giving up
I don't see the problem
It's not as if Leeds are treating this game as a must win either. Priorities.
yes agree
got to be expected main priority is staying in the prem
Must admit
I thought Wilson would've been a starter
People
Have lost sight about what football is about saying this isnt a priority
Their all over us ,no
Their all over us ,no cohesion.
Like we've gone back months.
Like we've gone back months. This is dire. Can't believe he's picked this side. We should be taking this cup seriously. Reminds me of Moyes v Liverpool away!!
Agree
Hes prob been told by those above. Forget cup we want the prem league ££
Gutted. This was a great chance of a semi.
Need pick it up 2nd half
A good strong performance &
A good strong performance & win would have been great going into the Wolves game. Agree with Boogers. It's a performance off 4 months past.
Well done
Kilman put us out the cup
You couldn't write it Kilman
You couldn't write it Kilman shouldn't be anywhere near this team. Everyman and his dog knows that. Not your best work Nuno!!!
Throwing a home cup tie
It is reprehensible but the greed is good league is the be all and end all so now they have to stay up...Lets see how they start that miracle with Wolves on Friday
Need a result
To make this selection, performance and result acceptable. Get used to Kilman because if we go down he'll be going nowhere
What the?
Yeeees
Kilman for the winner anyone
Kilman for the winner anyone
Can see him
Missing a penalty in the penalties showdown more like
Faaaack i turned it off.
Faaaack i turned it off. Started to have my dinner. Boogerscaravan Jnr phoned me to say you know we're still playing. I can't fvcking believe it...
That Folks is what supporting West Ham is all about
They piss you off give you hope then snatch defeat from the jaws of victory....would you have it any other way
The big business end to the
The big business end to the season starts Friday against Wolves, forget today, but lets big it up for the young lad Finley Herrick, that had a mountainous task to come on and deal with, and certainly did not fall short.
Who cares
If we go down. Stay up for? Another treading water season of nothingness? Every cup then we say, its not important, league is be all end all?
Not buying it. That was our season gone there. Stuff the boring league
My thoughts exactly VAR
So by some miracle we stay up are we going to challenge for the title? of course not and all that will happen is the same ol same ol....weak side in the league cup go out early try and make sure we are reasonably safe after christmas then have a couple of rounds in the FA cup get knocked make sure we are safe and then say we have to sell before we buy and the cycle goes on and on....so try winning something instead of just lining your own pockets ffs football is meant to be about glory not Groundhog day
Thats always been the West
Thats always been the West Ham Way.....I remember we did win a cup a couple of years back, and we were all over the moon.
Well said bike ,the
Well said bike ,the premiership is a load of bollox same old same old ,the mega rich clubs verses the rest .
The relegation fight is ten times more interesting ,and the powers the be just turn a blind eye to it ,how long now has that enquiry into Man shitty been goin on for 4 maybe 5 years ,a fekin joke.
Gutted after today, don't
Gutted after today, don't think I'll get another chance to see a Wembley show piece. Couldn't give a toss if we get relegated. Same old same old, struggle, manager change. Give me some chumps action, might actually get excited for the right reasons. Club needs a reset.....
So those that want to go down
So those that want to go down, the idea is to play good football to get back up,or you want to languish down there forever,or even drop another league,i know alot of Ipswich fans that cant get back up quick enough, then your saying about this being a competetive game,we should be pushing in this league, competing where we are,get rid of Moyes hey, look where he is in the league now,and we won a cup.The problem is higher up the club, recruitment and distribution of money,Mourinho said that Spurs was a Mr Levy club,West Ham is a Mr Sullivan and Son club....Theres your issue.
agree about Sullivan and Son club
I think we are at a real crossroads and need to redefine are identity that was totally destroyed with the move to the BoM.
I was one of those who was in favour of the move, I wont list the reasons again, there's no point, its both history and pointless.
The changes could have been positive but like Trumps war there was no vision on an end game or in our case a focus on our Identity.
We are caught between a rock and a hard place. We are not honestly Massive but we are by no means a small club. We have a cravenness stadium that can support a 60K odd support but the reality is this encouraged Non West Ham fans to attend, tourist etc or at best lukewarm hammers.
Not wishing to sound like a raving lefty but I core support was Working class, local, East End, traditional, humble, community etc etc.
I think before the move we were showing signs of change. WH board did a survey I think 20 years ago and found the AVERAGE supporter attending games was earning £60K / year (115K today) and I believe they assumed the working class, flat cap local living fan was long gone!
Few if any locals in Green St were West Ham fans, the core support was coming from greater London and the home counties particularly Essex. Fans arrived in cars and trains.
Now they all HAVE to travel in trains! The shiny new stadium with emphasis on corporate clients with at the other end of the spectrum cheap seats up in the gods that no one wants.
So what is our identity now and going forward? What or who do we want to be? Millwall or someone like Everton?
Thats right Dartford,both of
Thats right Dartford, both of us there have expanded the big picture here,we really are at the crossroads, and should be kicking on in the Premier League,we are bigger than Championship football, but as we are at the crossroads, our gear box is stuck,so not knowing where to turn,or being able to move, its got to be Sullivans call really now, whats he going to do,stay or go,that Kretinsky is a let down,he needs to make his mind up whether to be with us,or go full time posting letters with Royal Mail.
