Ok, A well earned rest for the players now to recharge the batteries and stay fit for the final push. With Manure winning, Liverpool keeping pace, and with a game in hand, I really see no alternative but to win the remaining 4 games if we are to qualify for Europe.
So WBA (A), Swansea (H), Manure (H), Stoke (A). Obviously all eyes are on the penultimate game with the Mancs, but it will mean nothing if we don't dispatch with the first two. Both potential banana skins, both requiring our full commitment. Only then will a win mean anything against the red devil's. 3 points there, we'd jump above em on GD leaving a tricky away encounter to Stoke to crown our season. Need someone to do us a favour against pooh, best bet would be Chelsea at Anfield unless Newcastle fancy saving their own arses next weekend.
So still all to play for but it has to be 4 wins from 4 if we're to make Europe imo.
And time to push Antonio forward now and give the defenders the chance to do their jobs. Great to see Ginge back, both Tomkins and Byram are back from injury so full squad to choose from. COYI's!!

"I wouldn't pick Andy Carroll just because he scored a hat trick". Don't know about you guys, but it just ticks me off to hear this. It's so utterly dismissive. He was the same about Noble. Speaking absolutely, maybe neither of them should be in the England squad, but there's a way to speak professionally about these things. For example, "What a magnificent performance he had against Arsenal; if he could play like that consistently, he'd be making a real case for inclusion." What do you think?
walcott or chamberlain or both?

Both injury prone but both seem surplus to requirements at arsenal so would we want them? rumours are that we could be interested in chamberlain but so are Southampton..interesting months ahead and qualifying for Europe will no doubt attract better players but I guess we will wait and see just who bilic wants and who he wants shot of.
Running a Marathon

Summer Clear Out Due!
A week can be a long time in politics, a couple of minutes can be a life time in football, and so a week that began with so much promise for West Ham United has unravelled spectacularly. Recent refereeing decisions and then the Sakho saga followed by defeat against Manchester United in the FA Cup replay and then compounded by the media witch hunt that once again got it's claws in to the Olympic Stadium award. All in all a pretty disastrous fall from the heady heights of expectation, but maybe this reality check will stand the team in good stead for the future. Serious lessons will have been learned, and a desire to right certain wrongs may well bring about a positive reaction from the squad, however one thing that is for sure is Slaven Billic will be keen to add quality to his team as well as moving on certain players, you might as well go to top5onlinecasino.ca and spin a wheel to win, you will probably have the same amount of chance to be correct as you would have in predicting Hammers starting line up for next season, particularly in the striking department. Thought that may wake a few of you up and know it is not reality well not yet it isn't but with the whole deal coming to light its been shown that we as a club do not have a veto over any other club wanting to share the stadium all that happens is our costs would be reduced and we get priority over fixtures....so I am guessing for the one season maybe two that the spuds need to build there own new stadia Levy will be interested very much so in ground sharing as they are having trouble finding somewhere to play....and whats to stop chelski doing the same....yup it will happen I am sure of it and so our new home will be forever tainted with anyone wanting to play there can if they have go the money of course.....so its not OUR HOME at all we are just council tenants when all said and done.
European qualifcation

With the poo and city progressing to the semi finals of their respective European competitions there is a possibility that both could end up winning the competition. If that were the case then even if we finish 4th we wont qualify for the champions league.my understanding is that we can only have 4 teams enter the champions league. So that will be Leicester , Spurs and probably arsenal plus one other. Champions league winners and Europa league winners automatically qualify so even 3rd place might not qualify. Or do I have this wrong ?
