Time To Put The Boot In Moysie!

The International break used to be a time when West Ham managers historically were able to work with their squad in order to 'catch' some teams by surprise when the domestic games returned, well that is all a thing of the past now with virtually ALL of Hammers first team or there abouts being called up to represent their countries.

So David Moyes will have very few players to work with in training while he keeps a cautious eye out for those who are away, the last thing the beleaguered Irons manager needs is yet more injuries! We have hesitated from jumping on to the Czech boys are no good anymore bandwagon, but realistically both Tomas Soucek AND Vladimir Coufal are shadows of the players they once more and deserve to be dropped from the team's starting line up.

Young Harrison Ashby should replace Coufal as soon as possible and young Flynn Downes needs to take over from Tomas Soucek in midfield, Moyes CANNOT in anyway be accused of not standing by his players but surely now is the time for him to utilise what he has at his disposal to the max!

All managers have their 'favourites' but Moyes needs to act now before he uses up too much of the credit he has accumulated over the last couple of years. In reality the writing was on the wall towards the end of last season, there has been absolutely NO improvement in form this season and something has to be done!

Why buy players you don't play and why disenfranchise the promising youth players by not selecting them? Bring back Irvine and Pearce along with Marky Noble, they would put fire back in the bellies! - LN
