Okay we seemingly are stuck with Moyes until the summer but what then? i have been looking at our squad and have made a list of what i see as the deadwood and needs getting shot of and players i think we should keep....if all of it happened there is one hell of a rebuild job required and it does concern me that our current owners having had there fingers burned last summer if they are still our owners will think twice about such extravagant spending this summer to come.

Players to be released IMO

Fabianski/Cresswell/Coufal/Ogbonna(age)/Zouma(injuries)Kehrer/Lanzini/Soucek/Antoni/Ings.

Players to keep again IMO

Areola/Johnson/Aguered/Emerson/Fornals/Downes/Paqueta/Bowen/Benrahma/Scamacca.

and one player well rather the invisible man i am totally unsure as to which list to put him in and that is Cornet.

So who do you thinks the deadwood and the ones worth keeping.

Can't really argue with those lists,I'd like to see Ings score some goals as hes got it in him but wishful thinking i suppose

As its pretty clear to all and sundry that he will go in the summer..to whom who knows but i was really just debating the squad and its problems as i see it.

He has looked very average in my opinion. For a German international I would expect better quality passing and his close control is suspect.

Kehrer has been a big disappointment but then again he probably shines for Germany as does pac for Brazil!

They've all looked bang average and been a disappointment (well most). Doesn't make them bad players. We seem to specialise in good players coming, turning them into crap, selling them at a loss only to see them flourish elsewhere again. Maybe we need to change the tea lady?

Looked a sound player, much better than Johnson (admittedly he's not a RB) so I cannot see the sense in Moyes thinking. Clearly Ashby is disillusioned so no surprises he has gone. The alleged £3 million price tag is though. That's a steal and Kehrer, who hasn't done much to impress cost what? £10 mill +? Can't see Ashby getting much game time at Toon though the way Trippier is playing at the moment

Out of all our youngsters let go he had the most promise imo, another westham tradition destroyed - our famous academy!

Coventry out on loan, Ashby gone to Newcastle as understudy to Trippier. I don't understand it, arguably we cant afford to lose anyone in this window. As we are right in it. I expect a Bob Marley stylee exodus in the Summer. As for now I expect we'll sign some low rent no hoper from the jungle somewhere, watch this space!!!

You right boogers Newcastle are doinng what all the big clubs do signing understudys to their most important players, 3 mill for Ashby ,my kids spend that on chewing gum .

£400,000 to Birmingham. Not even given a crack of the whip. Ashby already gone, Alese went in summer. Surprised Baptiste is still with us
