I didn't see the whole second half last night, and have not seen any footage yet. But for those who did, do you consider Adrian's dismissal was justified? It can only have been for preventing a clear goal-scoring opportunity. With claret and blue specs removed, what do people think?

OK I've seen the incident now. There is no interpretation of the law which allows for a red card simply for the handball. So the ref has to consider this a clear goal-scoring opportunity -- was it....really!!?

If the Ref hadn't sent him off he'd of been at risk of the assessor deciding that he'd "failed to apply the laws of the game". He was in my view covering his arse.

Well if the foul occurs which i think did before the handball then it wouldn't matter if adrian handles it that's the case we have to prove to get the red card rescinded but hope adrian learnt from this what ever the outcome

This gents is why I think we need a video ref, like in Rugby / Cricket etc...for the sake of a few seconds, ( quicker then a group of players arguing to the t**t in black
