West Ham United have been drawn away from home to Shrewsbury Town in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. Shrewsbury have cup pedigree and could present a difficult challenge to David Moyes as he seeks to avoid the ignominy of an early FA Cup exit. During 2002 to 03 Shrewsbury enjoyed an FA Cup run, after dispatching non-league sides Stafford Rangers and Barrow, they won at home against Moyes' old team Everton in the third round in front of 7,800. Chelsea were the fourth round visitors, in a televised match on BBC's Match of the Day. Town lost 0–4, with Gianfranco Zola the man of the match.

He has a dual agenda and not withstanding his undoubted desire to do his best for Londoners, one has to remember he wants to give former Mayor Boris Johnson a 'damn good kicking*', not only that but he has Lady Brady and the two David's firmly in his sights as he begins to unravel the complex and mind blowing finances involved in trying to turn Lord Coe's white elephant in to a stadium fit for purpose.
