My absolute hero, my childhood idol. Every time I put my kit on I was Billy Bonds. My mum painstakingly sewed the number 4 on the back of my Hammers shirt. I wore it with pride.
I'm so proud to have shared his birthday 17th September - RIP Legend...

Been a West Ham fan all my life. When you met a fellow Hammer and ask them their all time favourite player Billy was either first or second.
Ive had business contacts around the world with very little interest in football (or soccer) know about the legend that was Billy Bonds. Impossible for the neutral to talk about West Ham without Billy getting a mention, a true colossus of a man.
