just turned 12 and i went on my own from Surrey to watch the game...My God you would not do that today i am sure of that...but i hope for the old gits on here this brings back memories...i loved the kit and talk about players on both sides.
Last weekend to see the Lads win and although it looks a nice ground for me Highbury was better for Atmosphere but times move on i guess same as the pitches!
All the tight old grounds were better for atmosphere. Those days will never return, but at least we are old and wrinkly enough to remember them. Having said that worst ground I ever went to was Stamford Bridge in the 70's. Not cos I got a good kicking now and then. But that was soulless. As for the "shed" it might aswell of been a greenhouse. Pitch was further away than ours..PMSL
