Ahead of tonight's match I have a feeling that a lot of fans will look at the match through 'cherry red' tinted glasses and lament the loss of 'Uppers' or the Boleyn, indeed it is sad to not be able to experience the past again, but that is the point, love it or leave it the future is here. Bit by bit the painful dome might get there in the end, especially if the club can purchase the ground outright which is probably what the two daves have always wanted. The need to leave the Stadium early is also a matter of some debate, this could be a shot in the foot moment, but since the new station at hackney wick has been completed it is possible to get two or three times as many people safely away from the match as was the case during the building works, we left after the whistle had blown for the bournemouth match and were able to walk to the station AND GET STRAIGHT ON TO THE PLATFORM WITHOUT THE STOP GO PADDLE BOARDS BEING USED! Blooming marvelous it was, pity about the result though.
Point is The LS or whatever you want to call it can become an intimidating place for opposition teams, it just needs that last little bit of belief from the home supporters to help push the team over the line, once they have done it they will come into their own.
I shall now go and take my prescriptions!

Been saying it for years, this is our home and it’s time to move on. Totally agree about the stewarding after the match, much better!!
What about the many fans
That have to use stratford, any improvements there?
We only ever get off at
We only ever get off at Stratford if there is an issue with the overground, (usually on a Sunday) cannot bear having to be penned up at Westfield Central, the atmosphere is a hundred times better from Hackney Wick and there are Beer and Barbeque barges on the canal where it is possible to meet up away from the 'big brother ' restrictions endured once inside the security net.
Alternatively, while the weather is decent it makes more sense to bring a few iced up tinnies and some 'upmarket' sandwiches to consume on the canal banks if you don't want to spend too much cash, saves a fortune particularly when compared with the 'hospitality' prices charged inside the 'Pleasure Dome'. Last we knew getting off at Stratford was still crap!
Thanks for the info nev...
Coming in from Essex weve only ever used stratford,we will try Hackney wick next time & maybe just maybe!! it will make the match day experience better than weve had before
Hey Nev, how about a poll on
Hey Nev, how about a poll on the accepted name for the stadium? You've come up with about 1/2 dozen this season alone!!!

I use Stratford 65 and it’s a lot better. Both tube lines are good but to be fair I don’t use the over ground into Essex so not sure.

Stratford International is a doddle.
If you get on the Javelin service it brings you directly into the park.
Personally I like the LS, mainly because it's easier to get to now I come down from north.
